Okay, I give up with the guessing.

WTF IS WRONG WITH THE SERVERS?!

So today I log on, and I see what servers have people:  Ooh, Roboenza isn't full!  I quickly exit the program, restart it using the needed .wads...and the server is gone.  Pretty much all of them are.  The only ones I can see is an empty One-Flag Capture the Flag server, and an empty Deathmatch server titled "Hahaha," using the 1-B version of MM8BDM--No wonder it's empty.

After what looks like a preset period of time, I go back in to look for it, I see it, SAME THING HAPPENS AGAIN.

So yeah, I'm really mad about this.  Does my connection just suck, or what?

Dunno. I suggest using Doomseeker to find servers though. I use Doomseeker to grab the IP of servers(right click, copy address) and I paste that in the launcher, add in the necessary WADs, and join.

If you have the levels and needed wads in the normal (not skinz) folder, Doomseeker will load them automatically. :p

I have had this glitch happen to me a couple of times too, I usually just leave the search and come back 10 seconds later.

I think it has something to do with ping spiking and the internal browser only looking once. don't quote me on that though.

I play doom AND MM8BDM, so my doom settings do not go over to my mm8bdm settings.

Also, you can set in file paths with Doomseeker.

I technically use doomseeker, but yes, there are still people who don't.
