I have to make another update. I have to set another condition for me to play due to Zandronum constantly crashing in Duel for me. Therefore, I can only duel in servers that have the 2 Man DM wad in it. Otherwise, I doubt I can even play to 5 frags. If that cannot be arranged, then I have to drop out. I wish I could duel, but not if Zandronum is going to crash on me on EVERY single map.

I honestly doubt it has anything to do with Zandronum. Duel has been broken for MM8BDM for over a year and there still isn't a fix for it. I recall hearing there was going to be another patch coming out for a proper queue system in 2mandm, but we'd still appreciate our mode back.

I've had similar issues occasionally. If this is a prominent problem within the community, then we can ask folks to set up 2-man DM and 2-man DM.wad as a substitute for pure dueling. It all depends on how you all feel about it.

I'm not opposed to running duels in either manner.

I should note that the current banned map list is mm5wav (due to bikes) and mm5cry (due to the possibility of excessive stalling).

Due to the revisions to mm7dw4, I'll allow it to be in play for now. Same for mm5gyr.

Galactan, if you want mm2met, mm8sea, and mm1gut to be banned, you're going to have to give a good reason as to why. You can't just make demands without having some rationale. Tell us why those maps should be removed from play.

I should note that if there's a majority of folks who want a specific map removed from league play, I'll defer to the participants' judgment. There are rules to play in this league, but the only rules that really matter are those which we all can agree to. This is being organized for the sake of the community and for fun. If no one says anything about the rules as stated in the OP, then I have to assume that we are all in agreement about said rules.

You should review the rules, not only to make sure you understand what you're all getting into, but also to propose changes. Also, I may make mistakes, and changes should be made to correct any problems that might arise. I've tried to organize the rules to be as streamlined as possible and so that the rules themselves couldn't be abused and get in the way of having fun. If there are suggestions for changes, I'll give them honest consideration. If enough people want a specific change made, I'll make that change.
