Neato. You should talk to Korby about this. However, this would probably be better off in weapons and actors.

Does this also change his HUD colors?

I thought that was exactly what it did: HUD colors.

...Perhaps down the line there will be something that makes it so that Protoman and Bass use colored versions of their busters when using other weapons, instead of the Megaman buster.

If I were going to replicate every weapon in the game five times[Mega, Proto, Bass, Doc Robot, and Duo], I would make different weapons for all of the copywep classes a la MMSP.

After all, I'd need to replicate every weapon just to get a different buster on it.

It's just for consistency.

This may sound stupid, because I have no idea what I'm talking about, but can't you make it so that the WEAPONS check to see what class you're using and THEN adjust their sprite to it?

Sure, you'd have to duplicate all the weapons, but only ONCE.

Ideally that would work and it would be the preffered method, but...

1. I am not not at the stage where I am comfortable competently coding that as I have just not worked with coding in a long time, and never really to much detail.
2. I prefer not to mess with someone else code, especially without consent. (except if its something minor like a few variable changes, like what was done with my player and bot speed change)
3. It actually didn't take as much time as I thought it would, just haven't had much free time lately.

As time goes on I would like to take on more challenging projects as this one is rather easy.

New version will be ready tonight, btw (with Bass Proto and Megaman all done)
