Title: Classes Based Modification EX (Extra Classes Mod for CBM) (v1c)

A new mod that I've been working on which acts as an expansion to CBM in that it adds extra classes for people to play with, this was made due to a lot of people requesting for the Dimensions to be added as classes in official CBM however they do not classify as canon Mega Man characters so they will not be added. However I've been planning a mod like this for awhile with other classes as well.

- Bondman (Megaman 1)
- Voltman (Megaman DOS)

- Cross Roll (Marvel vs. Capcom)
- Rush (Megaman)
- Treble (Megaman)
- Tango (Megaman)

Any chance Maestro will get a class? (Or at least a skin for Rockman?)

I do not plan Maestro as a class because he could honestly just be Rockman or at least be an alt to Rockman. Not to mention he's not exactly an "official" character.

I think it would be cool if Rush and Treble could assist teammates more directly.  Like with Rush you could actually have teammates ride on you with Rush Jet, and with Treble after you use that charge thing you could pounce a teammate and it would give them flight/spread for a bit like Treble Boost

Man, what did you do to Waltz in v1a? Her orbs feel useless now. They're both harder to aim due to the extra distance they travel and do less damage, making them less rewarding even if you do overcome the skill floor increase.

Since her mainfire is already a weak, last-resort-style weapon for when you're in a hallway and can't focus on aiming, she loses her offensive capabilities, and since you removed her flight it's also harder to play defensively.


I suppose this is punishment for when I camped teleporters, but even so I feel you went too far.

What exactly is Bullet Vulcan treated as, weakness-wise? I have no clue who's weak to it...

For Rush Jet, the idea has already been set to allow players to ride on it but coding it now would be impractical, seems more like something that will have to wait for 3.0.
As for allowing Treble to buff others temporarily, probably not but if I did it'd be at the start of the rage because that's what makes more sense, not sure why you'd need to pounce your bros because that's silly.
Waltz will likely be revamped in the future.
Currently none of the original CBM classes are weak to any of the expansion classes due to needing to add in all the class files to do that plus most people don't play with weaknesses on anyways.

For those who don't know I have been working on class reworks which you'll probably get to see in 2017, though I will confirm that a couple classes have already been touched upon. If you wanna keep up with anything I usually post any progress on the MM8BDM Discord, or the CBM EX Discord (which you'll have to ask me for the link for reasons I will not explain). Otherwise this thread will strictly be for file updates and not any thread updates.

Sorry for the lack of announcement that v1b was out, I sometimes forget I even have this thread up.

Anyways, v1c is out and does contain a good few changes, including 2 new classes to play around with!

That's the normal CBM's job. It's not in Dimpsy's control.
