i think i messed up my saved game when i updated?

so when i updated to vb1 i wasn't able to load my saved game. in response i just map jumped to wherever i was at. Now, however, i haven't fought any bosses since bumo and i'm in the mm5 levels now. Did i mess up the story mode since i map jumped?

Do you mean the saved game you used via the menu, or the automatic one? Menu saves don't work in mm8bdm

I'm not 100% sure if that screws it up, but I think it would since you aren't beating the bosses properly.

menu.....i think that must be a bug then. I've been saving after every map. you press esc right when you teleport into  a new map, and you can save.

didn't realize. i was just playing the game. And so far I've only fought the chapter one boss.

Oh. Then yeah, it's screwed up.

When you appear in the next map, the BOTS dont spawn if it's loaded... you'll have to start from the beginning of THAT genre of levels.

Screw it. I'm just gonna finish playing through the maps, then go back start over i guess.

Yeah, do it the legit way!

Or you can enter sv_cheats 1 into the console and then type "fly", "give igmetalbladewep", and "god mode" for every map.  That, or just type "nextmap" for every map until the one before the boss and the boss itself.
