Why are you acting like -Ran? Because I'm certaintly not acting like this person you're calling me. None of this is on topic, nor a serious answer. :T
It's not on topic because you like to cause drama among people. And Ran, you are acting hypocritic, because you apparently want no drama, but are calling us (namely me>.>) names.Which is against the rules, mind you >.>
And to answer the thing in the first post: I think it's because people are becoming more casual in mm8bdm, or prefer less fast-paced gameplay. Either or.

And yet you do nothing to stop it. You don't nip it in the bud. You don't make an effort to stop any of it. We're all guilty. Don't BS a BS'er. =3
If you had the intention of stopping, you'd have attempted to extend an olive branch. But you don't, haven't, and show no sign of an effort to. You haven't in the slightest. Society says we're all guilty. And yet it's my word on yours. We already see how far that goes. =3

And to answer the thing in the first post: I think it's because people are becoming more casual in mm8bdm, or prefer less fast-paced gameplay. Either or. I see.

Lol @ the drama and the responses.
When you said people prefer less fast-paced gameplay, I was slightly baffled. Raegroboenza is one of the fastest modes (relative to all the other modes, in terms of match time) and is very popular among the players. while this may prove your prior statement about casuals to be more true, I can't help but think that fast-paced gameplay is what draws the constant flow of people to popular servers.
I think I've said this before and I'll say it again: Deathmatch, CTF and LMS are not fun with just 3-4 players. People want large-scale matches that provide people with many things to shoot at. If you don't believe me, then go see how many people are drawn to a deathmatch server because of Kapus, and then play deathmatch with everyone in the server.
Lots of targets, many bullets flying all over the place, "fun" to be had. All because Kapus transformed into a beacon to draw all the players into the server. If I had those same "beacon" powers, I would make everyone play CTF all day erry day. I should be a MM8BDM dev and then invite everyone to play with me and other devs like Korby. That will get the players joining
In short, rageroboenza is almost constantly full, so people are more drawn to the big servers to find lots of people to play with. That's why it's so popular. Think of servers as fire. The bigger the fire, the more people are drawn to it. No one wants to start a fire and wait in cold loneliness for others to join.
I guess that's what we need then. More people going into empty servers and waiting. Waiting for at least 5 more people in CTF servers before a fun match can start. A few more people in Deathmatch servers before the party can really start. Alas, not many have the will to just open a skulltag window, start their favorite browser, and surf the web until someone comes by. That's what I did back in the SGC demo when I all I had to look forward to were Blaze and Dogolife. 79 minutes. Has anyone gone 79 fucking minutes in a server before seeing someone else join? Didn't think so.

Oh good, a logical post. Thanks, BB!

Anyway, Ran, I have one question for you. Why on earth are you designating "trolling" posts with a picture of the Light Warriors on Chocobos?

It's a shot from the 8BitTheater Series, Korby. The people on the Chocobos in this meme are the *trolls*.

I have many times.

I want CTF dammit!

Also, I have pleasure in knowing that those Chocobos break down and die.
So the trolls will have to walk.
BM troll will be annoyed by Fighter troll while Thief troll attains contractual ownership of all of RM troll's ideas.

Yes, Sean. People rarely know that's why I chose that one. The original .gif was animated and showed how they were organized for one second, and then broke down.

Much more meaningful if you get it. :P

Oh, I've read 8 Bit Theater, I just don't understand why you label them as trolls, when they're really, for lack of a better phrase, harbingers of doom. (Other than Fighter, of course.)

But anyway, this is incredibly off topic.

On that note...What the heck IS the topic of this...topic?

Logic answer: Spam Thread for MM8BDM

Real Answer: Ranrans topic to bitch and moan about how he's better than everyone and stir up drama.

I'd suggest a lock~

Yeah, this topic doesn't seem productive.

Don't worry about it Nu. Just ignore the topic and let Ran create his own accusations here.

I'm reading this link to inspirational tips on how to create and build.

It has me thinking about how someone can be able to create from their imagination and destroy things, for the sole fact of learning and coping.

What inspires one to create and destroy things to personalize a space, either in our communities terms, or create and produce for something on the side?

*And I mean for anything, no matter how miniscule it may be. YT, Weebly, and any other things one does in their boredom.

Also, to answer you Korby, in the meme, it was to flash on the screen the words "When Trolling Goes Wrong " and animate what Sean was talking about.
It's a pretty classic meme among my Psychology class.
And I don't think we were in 8BDM Community space.. We're back now, and that's aaaalllll that matters. :P

Well, since this is a general chat....

I'm teaching myself to map, and I've hit a wall.
I can't figure out how to make sectors within sectors.

Can anyone help me with this?
