Apparently there's now a wad or pk3 to transform 2 Man DM into a Duel...but when I download the file, it's a .zip file. I can't figure out how to use it. Any help would be great. I'm not much of a duelist myself, but this appears to be the way it is run now.

Unless I'm mistaken somehow, the file is stored inside the zip. Simply extract the file from the zip and you're ready to go.

I have extracted it before and it had some actors and a Decorate inside. Was that what I needed? There's no wad or pk3 inside it.

As you download it, save it as a pk3. Or, if you've already downloaded as a zip, rename its file extension to pk3.

I couldn't change the file extension after I downloaded the .zip, but I was able to change it as I was downloading it. Thanks for the tip, I'll have to remember that. Now I have both the regular version and the PU version, so I should be good for duels now.
