"health left" script
« on: December 25, 2012, 06:17:12 AM »
This may not be the right place to ask this, but I couldn't find it anywhere else.

Does anyone know that chat script/sequence thing that states your remaining health level as a number? I've seen some people use it taunts like tailsmk's "rings left: 56." I'd be interested in possibly doing it myself now that I know how chat macros work.

Its like $health if you're trying to bind that.
If I was trying to say how much ammo I had left then I would use $ammocount. Just remeber $health's for hp and $ammocount is for ammo. $weapon is for weapon.
Example: "Say I have $ammocount ammo remaining in my $weapon" would turn out "I have 28 ammo remaining in my HardKnuckleWep"
Another Example: "Say $health hp remains" would turn out "100 hp remains" (at full health of course)
The "Say" part goes into the beginning of your bind so it works. To add color you need two 's and a c.
Sure hope this helps.

You need to type and enter "chat_substitution 1" into the command prompt first before doing any of that.

Thanks, the scripts work fine.
I couldn't figure out chat macros, but I did learn how to bind what I wanted to the number keys. Case closed
