Well, right now, I'm really obsessed.  Before I took up MM8BDM skins, which aren't as hard as they look to make, I was writing about AND SPRITING custom Robot Masters.  I planned out their stage, weapon, moveset, everything--it was so official, my friend asked if he could use one in his Mega Man fan game.

Which is kinda sad, but also REALLY EPIC.

I was wondering about that--Wow, I say that a lot--I was considering asking about a black outline, but I thought it wasn't that important.  Should be done in the next 5 minutes.

EDIT:  Still not done yet, but I don't think he looks good with a black outline.  I'll color his eyes and mustache black.

All right, it's all filed up...I hope I get something that looks good soon, I wanna move on.

I can pitch in, I'll do the Gordo skin, possibly others, but, as you all probably know by now, I'm new at this.  What exactly is expected of me?  I'll presume I'll have to get it all the way to a full skin download, but will I need to write/program a bot chat as well?  Also, there's the issue of resizing; should I really be going off of that tiny sprite?

I'm more than aware of that, but since all of what's here is theoretical/blueprints (No Download Link) , and it covers more than just skins, I decided to post in non-specifically.

I thought about that for a while, but I thought I was limited to the same number of different colors of the NES--I really should've known better.  I'll revise it so it only changes his sleeve color.

But while this is very helpful and all, the most important thing is that I get my questions answered.  In addition, is there any chance I could see the templates for pre-existing characters?  Is there, like, a post anywhere for the original roster?  'Cause seeing some of those would speed along the production of other skins.

Actually, I wasn't thinking of that at all when I wrote out my username.  I was actually having trouble coming up with a username.  Also, the "Z" is the the Fantasy, not the Chaos, at least in my username.

Okay, now seems a good a time as ever to ask.
...What's a blind run?  Do you, like, not look at the screen while playing?  I kind of thought it was diving straight into a game, having never played or heard about it before.

Also, I've got one.  How about...Chill-Man's stage, Mega Man 10.  My only request is that you use Proto Man; he's free in that one.

Bubble-Man No Constancy can be acquired in the No Constancy skin pack.  See the Halloween and Christmas expansion packs to acquire Halloween-Man and Ignorance, respectively.  You don't want the Kirby's Adventure skins.  Unholy skins are staying in Unholy.

Also, yeah, I know all the image previews are broken.  Imageshack thought it was a good idea to start charging for image uploads and all.  Trust me, these old skins aren't good and you don't want 'em.

Well, I'm a bit of a youngster, so it's probably different from most of ya.

The words of Mega Man first reached my ears when I was talking to some of my best internet friends, and basically, I was asking them which video game antagonist was their favorite.  So, I listed some of the basic ones, with a brief description, Sonic, Mario, NiGHTS, Zelda, you know.  And one of my friends--his screen name was War Panda--pointed out one thing, with the following sentence.

"Don't forget Doctor Wily!"

Since then, it's only gone uphill.  I kept hearing people blab about the Mega Man games, in all their glory.  In addition, due to my listening habits, I also heard some of the soundtrack prematurely--although, with all the MM2 Wily's Castle remixes out there, I suppose I could expect it.

Finally, after messing around in Mega Man's gameplay mode in Super Mario Bros. Crossover for the umpteenth time, I caved.  I logged onto chat, and I asked my friends which one I should get.  They all recommended Mega Man 2, as a way to ease into a difficult series...and, well, here I am, I suppose:  A Hardcore-Gamer, 8-Bit-Crackhead, Mainstream-Mega-Man Fanatic.

Hello, everyone, my name is, obviously, CHAOS_FANTAZY.  You may feel free to call me CF, or, as I considered naming myself, "Ice Man Ike."  Since this forum is mostly about creating things for Mega Man 8-Bit Death Match, I suppose I'll talk about my telents.

My main form of talent comes in supplying text.  I can usually only write about ideas.  I can do some minor digital drawing--I only own Paint, but still--but most of my ideas come from my descriptive writing.  I'm currently attempting to make a character reskin--depending on my feedback, I may strive for more--but I can only go so far, and will probably be asking a lot for programming, sound effects, etc.

Don't expect to see too much of me--I have to visit a lot of forums--but hello, here I am.

By the way, did I post this in the correct section?  I have yet to learn about the protocol and manner in which one "cuts stuff."

Alright, after playing 8 of the 10 levels you created, I suppose I can say this...
You did an amazing job.  Your presumably custom-made songs are some of the catchiest I've heard, and everything looks and feels really authentic.

I really liked the new Triple Blade weapon, but I think it's too much like the Air Shooter as it is now:  the best, arguably only, way to use it is to sneak up behind someone and blast the heck out of 'em.  Overall, I liked the "Merry Christmas" Freeze Cracker weapon better.

Wait a minute...in stage 4, Pharaoh's Tomb, there rests a powerup atop a pedestal...Time Stopper?!  I thought that was never coded!  Flash-Man's always been portrayed with the Bass Buster...
Could you tell me a little more about this?  I hate being confused more than anything...
