Title: 2 Final Boss bugs (POTENTIAL SPOILERS)
Post by: Geno on March 13, 2013, 01:37:53 PM
Okay, I just discovered 2 bugs with the final boss.

The first one, is in the cutscene before it, when you grab the Duo Fist and you're supposed to go towards the hole in the ceiling.
If you back up, slowly into the corner of the hole, the small 'mini-cutscene' will activate, but you will get stuck on the ceiling.
Here's an image:

The second one, is during the actual boss. If you don't move from your spawn point, and spectate, wait for the Evil Robot to charge at you, then move inside of him and rejoin the game. The Evil Robot will then die as you come back.
Also, the explosion cause by the Evil Robot will kill you too.

Also, in a related note, spectating can clone Gamma too.

1. We have battled that bug for ages during development. It still lives, it still exists!
2. That isn't technically a bug. You aren't supposed to spectate after all. More of an oversight. It's on the same lines of typing MDK in the console and killing the bosses that way.

Prehaps silently teleport the player to the center of the opening so he can fly out without problems? After all, the view angle does abruptly change, so the player may not notice it.

I believe it does actually do this.  It does make this particular bug a big perplexing though.

Spectating in a boss battle is the same as using any console command stuff, and is filed under "cheating", so we can't really fix it. This is the first I've heard of the first one though.
