Training only lets me use the mega buster

Hello this is my first post so please go easy on me  .
Anyway, whenever I enter the training room in front of Auto I can't use any weapon other from the Mega Buster.
Is my character supposed to change color according to the weapon I selected? Because he stays blue.
I'm not new to this game though so I know how the weapons work, I'm just wondering why training is acting strange.
I'll try to post some screenshots later if you need any.

Yeah its a glitch in this version weapons wont work in the training room, they will work in matches but not in the training room. The creator of the game has gone on Hiatus recently so i dont know when or if it will get fixed if you want to use the training room you are gonna have to use another version
If you are just doing it to test out weapons though you can open console and give yourself any weapon to test it out without the need of  the training room
