Closed / Fixed MM9 Botchats

Greetings, way before the MM9 update was even being worked on, I had previously submitted the nine botchats for the MM9 robot masters. Much later, when the MM9 version was started, I had gotten my hands on the Robot Master Field Guide and decided to update the nine botchats to better reflect their canon personalities and submitted these updates to the developers to replace the older, inaccurate botchats. Once the update came out, I saw that three of the fixed botchats had been fully added, and the other six had been badly merged with the original botchats, instead of straight up replacing them. I sent the six updates back in to fix these mistakes, but I guess with the big update, they were accidentally left out. I'm putting the fixed botchats here so that they won't be forgotten with a future hotfix for the latest version!

With the expansion for Mega Man 9 official and done and the Mega Man 10 expansion lurking in the near future, I believe this thread has served its purpose and to prevent it from being bumped again, I will be locking it.

Hey, I got a question for you all. During the lead up to V3, Ivory showed off a feature where the MM1 maps reskin the Health/Weapon energy sprites with appropriate graphics using Argument 1, something that ultimately ended up not making it to the release to my knowledge.


With all the changes and additions going to V5b, will this feature be brought back?
To my knowledge, this was scrapped due to potentially confusing players. It's too bad there's no way to make it a togglable option, but I believe that isn't possible in the engine.

Very good! I especially like the robot master flashing up from each chapter. I noticed that each third robot master flashing up segued into some game play from their respective map, except for Pluto. Will game play for his map be inserted once the MMV chapter is released?

I suggested something similar to this a while ago and they said they'd think about it. For MM4DC1 however, I think they could eventually make a MM4DC2 and give it the second theme and let MM4DC1 have the first theme. But that'd obviously be a far longer and harder option.

All of the reworked stuff looks great! I do hope Splash Woman's stage contains some prop Octones though. I always loved that enemy.
