I have a guilt problem, like, if something happens and I'm near it or involved in it, I'll usually blame it on myself.

I am deathly afraid of June 2016. Why? Not because my birthday's in that month, even though I'll be turning 18 then, but because I'll be finishing High School. Why am I afraid of that? BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO! It's bad enough that I can't think of any interesting things to skin for 8BDM, and I can't pull myself together to even finish my WIP ones, but I don't even know what to do with my life! My real life!

Mind you, the frighteningly fast passage of time is also something that startles me. It feels as if, as time goes by, every year, every week, every hour, every minute, EVERY SECOND, is getting gradually shorter. And that bothers me, because I enjoy taking my time and living in the moment. Can't really do that, when it feels over right when you think it's getting good!

Actually, that psycho rant I just wrote reminds me of another little thing.

I also, CANNOT think about the far future. I can in my dreams, but those are so unrealistic and weird that they don't count. I'd probably be able to, but my mind must have created a mental block that stops me from doing it. If I can get around to it, I end up thinking TOO far, and getting all depressed over things like "Oh no, when I die, what'll happen to all my cool stuff?!" (Luckily, I get over that real soon by thinking about Doctor Who or Sonic CD or something.)

Whoa, I think that's the biggest post I've ever made on a forum ever. Not counting things like my skin and art topics, that is.

And I think ThePlayer/ZeStopper was right (In the weird dreams topic). I DO have problems.

Yes. I think your feelings and thoughts in general are a lot more common than you seem to think. I see these same feelings and thoughts in many other people.

Birthdays are a funny thing--when you're little, they're the greatest thing and you always look forward to them. As you grow older, though, it becomes something you dread as you begin to drift from your childhood.

So you're having trouble figuring out a career path? Pursue what you love. Find a path that reflects your ideas and passions. You enjoy graphic design, right? Why not go with that? I think you have talent.

It's not so much what I want to do for a living that's bugging me, but how I'm gonna get there.

Heck, I'm even thinking of pulling a Suntoad and getting together with my 2 (real life) friends and making a game company eventually.

There's also many people on here I think I could consider friends, but I'm not sure if they consider me their friend.

I aim to linger in town after high school for a year or so and amass funds while taking my time thinking through what I'm going to do with myself.

The only thing that sounds like something I could do is animation but since that's a year and a half away I'm not too worried about it right now.

The historical reference serves as a analogy for how I felt back in September of 2011, just after I had finished AMP-MP and was looking to improve my maps along the way. Enter IX-pack. I think I already admitted this to Ivory, but on the day that IX-pack released, I cried. For abouuuuut a good five minutes straight. Rawk Hawk and Saviorsword were in a call with me when they told me IX-pack had just released. I got on the server and the first map I played on was IDM20. Or was it IDM02? Either way, I remember just walking around the map absolutely stunned and starting to cry, because I realized I was walking on my (mapping career's) grave. It took Rawk and Savior five whole minutes just to calm me down, and I honestly felt like a mess afterwards.
I think one of the main reasons AMP-MP 2 hasn't been made, and might never be made, is that I have yet to find a way to overcome the standard set by IX-pack twenty times over. I can certainly cook up good maps, and some might even say that the green medal puts me on equal footing with some of the great mappers of this community. By the way, remember when I went on that tirade about the green medal? Fun times. Anyways, it's something I always hold in my mind when it comes to AMP-MP 2, because I have never felt like my ideas would ever be good enough to stay on each server. Being a dev, I'm not too afraid of living up to the core's standards. I'm just afraid of letting down my own.

I think I'm starting to get more annoyed and frustrated with metroid prime the more I play it. The reason I say this is because some things are in the game are starting to piss me off. One example is the chozo ghosts. These guys can teleport to a different spot after they attack, their projectiles fuck up your HUD and stun you for enough time to potentially get paralyzed again. Another problem is damage, some enemies and obstacles can drain health faster than you can tabernacle. Some examples that I can think of are the Turrets, Space pirates, lava and phazon. It gets annoying when you are trying to conserve on health. The two past examples are also annoying for the fact they can respawn when you exit the room to a certain point and when you backtrack you have to deal with these assholes again. Another problem is manuverability in combat situations. Sometimes when you are in a fight and trying to avoid enemy attacks, you soon find yourself backed up or in place and soon getting smacked with bullets of find a face full of pain thanks to a lack of seeing of what's behind you. This is specially true with bosses, this is what made Thardus and now the Omega Pirate battle be a complete pain in the ass. Even Samus herself is driving me bats. What with missing targets even when locked on, missing simple jumps and messing up boost ball half pipe jumps. That brings me to another issue I have with this game is hose Ammy damned half pipes. What with timing boosts and trying to keep Samus on a certain part of the pipe to get an item.

So in tl;dr terms, Metroid Prime is getting annoying for my tastes.

I think some internet people don't look like how they are or how they act. Like, their exterior does not match with their personality, and I find that very, very odd. I myself think I do look like how I act and how I am on the inside. Sometimes I think that's just totally narcissist of me, but I can't help thinking that: I have a mental image of my personality that I've come to accept as being just how I look on the outside.
