Heh, are you talking about RuneScape or that other game? RS certainly took a turn for the worse with all of the things they added IE: Promotions on membership, being able to buy various things and some things are obtainable only via money spent on an actual thing/event. God knows what else they did they said they wouldnt do, for the spirit of the game.

Played it myself for... Hm... 3 or so years? Maybe longer. Its old enough that is of the time where i didnt even use this name, so dont be suprised that my RS account name is Mister Evil9, a bit silly but we all do... Weird things while young.

Maybe i should return to the game sometime, heh. Once the bot masses are cleared out once and for all, even though i even ended up being a mod there, its quite discouraging to play if the bot swarms persist. Some go as far as to mention high up executives and/or bots are strangling the game for all its money untill it dies and move on. As long as the bots keep a high image in the free worlds it might just end up to that. (As if Lumbridge wasnt crappy enough with only password scammers, cyberdating, general scamming, and plain bad behaviour). :P

Its quite discouraging to play if the bot swarms persist.

Lament - The coal rocks in the Mining Guild, Mining for runes in Varrock, Smithing and cooking in Al-Kharid, Cutting down Yew trees everywhere, Fishing near Gunnarsgrunn, many places where bots tend to hide out. And that's in F2P. Who knows how many other bot-camps there are in P2P. We reported 4 bots yesterday, and I ticked someone off for thinking that he was a bot. The Medieval Society isn't advanced enough to handle this kind of new-fangled technology, unless they're all "Zamorak approved."
