I think it's been long enough. Yes, this is an April Fools' joke. No, destructible terrain on this scale is not feasibly possible in this engine. While something like Duke Nukem 3D's, Shadow Warrior's or Blood's destroyable walls may be feasible (given that BUILD is a 2.5D engine like Doom's), full scale destructible terrain like in Minecraft is completely off the table.

On semi related subject, I have seen something of Worms Doom with destructable terrain, But I think it would be impractical.

The most feasible idea of destruction altering the map would be one where there are Gutsblocks (or whatever equivalent you need) that can be destroyed with explosive weapons to reveal extra paths.

But I don't know if this is a good idea.
