you can make an engine even without sprites you know.
one of shigsys techniques is to use just a grey square as the character at first, and when it feels right to control, THEN they add the fancy 3d models or sprites!

Oh, alright, I'll get them on my account. Eventually. (Right now, I'm slightly busy.)

It's okay, you don't need to get 'em up now.

I might as well. Hmmm.... For this project, I still need a coder... This thing's still in the concept stages... Oh well. Right now, I'm just doing what I can.

I'm taking a game design course this summer. I'll probably start then, or start a game there and base Final off of it.

I don't think making an Megaman Engine is easy if you wanted to make it completely based on it, even if you had a bunch of programing experience and stuff. Hence, why I used an Megaman Engine to get started.

I'm planning on using N64Mario's Engine in GameMaker.

Uh. N64Mario's Engine is made in Multimedia Fusion 2. Not Game Maker, unless you are going to painfully convert the MMF2 Coding into GM Coding, which means you need to know how to use both GM and MMF2.
If you can successfully do that, I'd be ripping my hair off.

And also, even if you managed to convert it. There's still a bunch of things needed to be done, the engine is missing a few important gimmicks.

So I take it you used Fusion? Then why does the Mania icon have the Gamemaker gear?

Kurobit's Engine (Mania uses this engine, but majorly modified) = GM
N64Mario's Engine = MMF2

I actually asked him to send me his engine. You could ask him throughout email, here's his email address: kurobit@ymail.com

I don't have the original version of his engine anymore. It's been overwritten with my stuff.

As a member of The Music Lobby, KuroBit's very original engine build is lying there. Ask Kacke or me.

Also, Tesserex's engine is much more flexible IMO.
