Basically, this is a what if of a Mario-Party-like Mega Man party game. Post your minigame and map ideas! I'll add them to the front post if they seem like a good idea.

Map Idea: Gyro Man

A series of platforms on air, use the fans to get around!

Item: Skull Barrier
Makes you completely immune to negative items until your next turn begins.

Currency is gonna be screws I assume.

Crash Tower Climb

Jump on Tellies to gain air! The first one to the top of the tower wins. Don't fall, or you'll be out!

Crash Bomb
Puts down a Crash Bomb on one space. If someone hits it or if three turns pass, the bomb explodes. If it hits, screws will be lost.

Crash Tower:
Climb to the top to earn a... uh, what are stars in tnis game? Anyway, don't fall! Some enemies will help you up, while others will send you crashing down!

I liek Crash Man.

Obviously this stuff would be in Mega Party 2

E-Tanks: Allows you to get back screws you lost in the previous turn.
W-Tanks: Gives you an extra use of a weapon-type item.
M-Tank: Has the effect of both an E-Tank and a W-Tank.
Proto Buster: Deflects certain attacks with a moderate probability. Allows you to charge up for 3 turns to deal a more powerful attack than usual. However, you cannot use items during this time.
Bass Buster: Has a higher damage potential than Mega Buster, but has a chance to miss some shots.
Super Adaptor: Allows you to jump higher. Also gives you a charge attack that is slightly weaker than Proto Buster but only needs 2 turns to charge.
Rush Coil: Allows you to jump even higher than Super Adaptor. Only usable once, so make it count!
Rush Jet: Fly to any space you want.
Eddie: Gives you a random weapon-type item.
Tango: Deals damage to enemies in a straight line.
Treble: Stays in one space, dealing constant damage to nearby enemies.
Item 1: Allows you to create a few platforms for shortcuts across gaps or up smaller jump shortcuts.

These should be buyable with screws. The Proto and Bass Busters replace Mega Buster when purchased. They have unlimited uses. You can return to the Mega Buster for free whenever you please.

But you don't step on those.  Foot Holders need love too!

There should also definately be a Bright Man obstacle race involving the crickets.

Foot holders could be used in a game where the players have to avoid being dropped into the abiss.

Ice Panel: If a player lands on the space, they are frozen and lose action during their next turn UNLESS another player passes the frozen space, or the frozen player uses a Fire element item (in which case the Panel is destroyed).

Guts Circuit: If you pass a player during your turn you can pick them up and carry them with you to whatever space you land on, stealing 5 Screws for every space you move them.

Cut Capsule: Players who move past the space it's used on will have their remaining Movement halved, rounded down to the nearest whole number.

Time Circuit: Slows the Dice Block's time field, making the numbers roll a lot slower.

Bomb Capsule: Players who move past the space it's used on will lose half of their Screws! However, it detonates on the user's next turn.

Elec Circuit: Charges the Dice Block with energy, allowing you or another player to only roll numbers 6 through 10.

Fire Circuit: During your turn, you cause every player you pass to lose 20 Screws.

Oil Capsule: Makes players slip and fall when they pass the space it's used on, ending their Movement.

Magnet Beam: Takes the user straight to the Emblem Station, where they can buy a Wily Emblem for 20 Screws.

A couple of mini-game ideas.

Beat the Belltower

Place: Clown Man's Stage, inside a belltower.

Game Style: 4-Player.

Time: 60 seconds.

Controls: (<^>V) - Move

Description: Get onto the safe panels before the bell is rung. Last Player standing wins.

Info: 4 players start at each corner of a 5x5 grid that have pictures of Xs and Os on them. Everyone must scramble to stand on one of the Os before the robot rings the bell. When the bell is rung, all of the X-panels open up to reveal trap doors. As time passes, Less O-panels will appear and the bell will be rung faster. The game ends when either one person is left standing or when time runs out.

Pharaoh Punch!

Place: Pharaoh Man's Stage, Right outside of a pyramid.

Game Type: 1 vs. 3 players.

Time: Infinite

Controls:

Pharaoh Golem: (<>) - Move Sideways
                                      (A) - Left Punch
                                      (B) - Right Punch
                                      (A+B) - Hammer
                                      (L) - Left Pharaoh Shot
                                      (R) - Right Pharaoh Shot
                                      (L+R) Pharaoh Shotgun

              Other: (<^>V) - Move
                        (A) - Jump
(Tap B) - Fire uncharged Pharaoh Shot
(Hold B) - Charge Pharaoh Shot
(Release B, if not fully charged) - Fire uncharged Pharaoh Shot
(Release B, if fully charged) - Fire charged Pharaoh Shot

Description: You got his power, but try not to get punched. Take out the Pharaoh Golem before he gets you.

Info: 3 Players start on a flat surface while a large golem representing Pharaoh Man rises out of the sand north of them. The goal is for the 3 players to utilize Pharaoh Shot to defeat the golem before the golem defeats them in turn. Each survivor can take up to three hits before they are knocked into the dunes below. The golem can take up to 40 fully charged Pharaoh Shots. It doesn't take any damage from uncharged shots. The golem has a variety of attacks. It can punch left and right, form it's hands into a hammer that slams the center of the surface and creates a shockwave that the survivors must jump over to avoid. It can also fire Pharaoh shots of its own. Mummarias will also try to defeat the survivors by firing their heads at them. They can be defeated by 5 uncharged shots, or 1 charged shot. The game ends when either the 3 players are knocked into the quicksand or when the golem is destroyed.

It's Gutsman!

Location: Fun World

Game Type: Duel

Time: Infinite

Controls: (<^>V) - Move Rush
(A) - Bite

Description: It's GutsMan up to his old tricks again, but...which mascot IS GutsMan. Use Rush to find him.

Info: The game starts out with a view of twenty kangaroo mascots walking about in a circular area, but one of them is housing GutsMan inside. Both players pilot their own Rush and must utilize them to find GutsMan. By biting the costumes they reveal the posterior of a random Robot Master, except for any other RM that does not have one, ex. SplashWoman. If the butt belongs to GutsMan, then the famous "DUN-NUNNNNN, It's GutsMan!" would be heard and the player wins.

Jump Jump Slide Slide!

Place:  Easy Course - Frost Man's Stage, Hard Course - Wily Fortress

Goal:  Be the last bot still on their board!

Type:  4 Player (Battle mode if applicable)

Controls:  A/X to jump, X/Square to slide, Control Stick to move

Description:  Players are snowboarding on an infinite path.  There are gaps to jump over and tiny slits to slide through.  Failing to accomplish these two things results in elimination.  The goal is to be the last person standing.  As time goes on, the amount of hazards increase as does the speed.  There are also Tellies that drop bombs.  Being hit by a bomb does not result in elimination, but does stun you temporarily which late in the game is pretty much guaranteed elimination.

Free Man Mix-Up

Place:  I don't know, anywhere

Goal:  Be the first to pick out three imposter mets from the field of free lives!

Type:  4 Player

Controls:  You can move, shoot, and kick

Description:  The game starts with a short scene showing a bunch of Extra Life Decoy Mets (see Mega Man 9) running into a field of Extra-Lives.  The scene is shown in a way to not give away the location of the Mets.  Players then go through a field of extra lives and try to find three mets.  They have a short range shot to help them spot the mets (as you will hear a *ching* sound as the shot hits their helmet).  When they find them, they kick them, flipping them over where they sit upside-down flailing their legs for the rest of the match.  First person to find 3 wins.  The field they have to find them in isn't perfectly flat and the amount of walls varies from match to match.

all of the Minigames need to have bad puns for names
« Reply #12 on: February 01, 2012, 02:28:18 PM »
Early A-Rival
Duel Minigame

Stop the Bomb Walker's timer as close to zero as you can... but don't wait too long!
The infamous "get the timing juuuuuust right" Duel Minigame. A staple of Mario Party.

A: Stop Clock

Wait Lifting
4-Player Minigame

Stay on the Guts Lift! Time your jumps to clear the gaps in the railing.
Simply jump at the right time to stay on the lift. It's not rocket science.

A: Jump

Power Hassler
2-Vs-2 Minigame

Take control of a giant Power Massler! Control the arms to break apart the rocks in your path.
Alternate punching with your partner to punch faster. If you don't punch sequentially the Power Massler moves much slower.

Player 1 (Left Side)
A: Punch

Player 2 (Right Side)
A: Punch

Chopping Block
4-Player Minigame

Wooden blocks fall from the sky! Use your scissor helmet to cut them down!
Compare to Clear Cut Challenge from Pokemon Stadium 2. Time your cuts to match the marked areas, and the player with the most accuracy wins.

A: Snap Scissors

Boom-Boom Blast
1-Vs-3 Minigame

One player throws Hyper Bombs into a field while the other three avoid them. Watch out for holes!
Three players run around on a square field while the solo member tries to blast them out of this world. Hyper Bombs clip through players and have a delayed explosion, so you have to think about where to place them. Certain areas of the playing field are cracked, and detonating three bombs on these areas will destroy them, leaving holes in their place. The team of three wins if even one of their members survives the time limit.

Solo Player
CtrlStick: Move targeting reticule
A: Toss bomb
L/R: Replenish bomb supply
The solo player can only hold five bombs before having to get more. Reloading earlier reduces the wait time, so the solo player must decide whether they want to have a quick five-bomb barrage and a wait afterward or if they want a slow-yet-steady pepper of individual blasts.

Three Players
CtrlStick: Move
A: Jump
... Yes, there's jumping. It helps you take short-cuts over holes that might be in the middle of the field, but it also lets you be a complete jerk by stomping on your friends and slowing them down, Mario Party style.

Gears of Fear
2-Vs-2 Minigame

One player spins gears on an obstacle course to prevent the other team from finishing!
This is sort of a hybrid between a 1-Vs-3 (where competitive gameplay rules) and 2-Vs-2 (where teamwork saves the day). One player on a team will be tasked with running a course filled with spinning gears. Gears will spin left/right (upright gears), forward/back (upright gears), or clockwise/counterclockwise (flat gears). The other player can flip a switch to affect the opposing team's gear movement, trying to slow them down (or better yet, send them into a pit). If a player falls Beat will go fish them out and plant them back on course, but they lose a lot of valuable time.

Player 1
CtrlStick Left / L: Flip switch to the left
CtrlStick Right / R: Flip switch to the right

Player 2:
CtrlStick: Move
A: Jump

Items:

Reggae: Works sortof like Boo in the mario party games, and he will steal screws for 5 screws, an emblem for 50 screws, or an item for 30 screws.

Exit Unit: Will take the player back to start.

Metal Blade: A single metal blade with a only a 50% probability of hitting, and if it hits, the player may either lose half its screws automatically or take high damage depending on the game mode.

Super arrow: Allows the player to ride on it all way to the other side of the board with it and the other players will lose screws if they get in the way.

Hologran: An item that if activated, will prevent the targeted player from seeing what number he/she rolled for one turn. Meaning the player will have no idea what space he or she will land on.

Crunchran: Simply a trap that if the player lands on it, the player will lose screws.

WHY HAS CAPCOM NOT MADE THIS GAME?!?!

I admit, it's a great idea.
