Re: Rozark's Palace: Rozpack V3.5C
« Reply #135 on: September 18, 2014, 03:18:07 AM »
Alright so here's the thing:
I went and made a V3.5C specifically to counter the intense filter complaints except there's a tad more than just that.
The Roz01 and Roz02 aesthetic updates were supposed to be delayed for V4, but nah, take them early.
V3.5B was supposed to be the final time Preemptive Strike appeared, oops.

V3.5C changelog on the front page. Now take those sunglasses off and enjoy the view.

I'm hoping to update my tauntpack within the next 2-3 weeks; don't hold me to that estimation.

Thanks for Playing,
Rozark

With V4B being released about an hour ago, I went ahead and updated Genesis Tunes to include 2DW3MUS. So yea, that's what this post is here for.

Download on the front page or here:

If there's any issues with it just let me know.

In an effort to be more presenting and open about what exactly I'm working on and when, I proudly present:

THE RABBIT'S BURROW
(Name is not yet official don't hurt me, same goes with the formatting)

It's a newsletter of things that I'll update you folks on whenever I feel like it. This may be within a week, a month, probably not a huge amount of time like 4 years though. Besides the one spoiler, everything is open, specifically the images. Go read it below.

There is not; the mirror room is the last location.
Prior to MM8BDM V4, typing in crashout (or something along those lines) into the scripts/console crashed and ended your game.
That was the intended "finish", but it seems that that isn't the case anymore.

Thanks for reminding me; I should get around to updating that some day.

Some maps look cool ! CRISIS VALLEY is my favorite of this pack (Gerudo Zelda theme thing plz =) .
Good idea for Hydrocity ! Yeah, a wall or something before the water is a good idea :)
And RADIANT CARNIVAL, could be interesting to see how it's because MMBMAG is boring for me.... Could be nice to have an other way to play in magicman style map :)

I wanted know, can you add MM6BOSS2 Sega genesis remix for your music pack? I like playing sometimes this music but it's only the 8 bits one x) .....If u want.
Also, can a "music pack" make some lags on a computer (like laptops 2 go ram + 1,6 ghz), i would want host it more on my stand (for videogames festival), i tried it, but a computer has frozen, i suppose it was a bug or something.....not from the music pack or mappacks?
Well, a friend told me, mappacks can do some problems, not a music pack...?

Nice to see so much of my stuff being put to cool uses.

Doublecheck the spiral column textures in carnival though... you have to use the correct ones on each side for the spiral to work right.

Crisis Valley's song is staying the same, yes. It will however be getting a cleanup due to the older method of compression being poor compared to my newer way. (Volume, file size, quality, etc)

Map packs have the potential of having overlapping textures, etc(thus breaking them), an example being the appearance of core BRG if you load CSCM. However this usually only happens with outdated packs as more updated ones tend to notice when this is happening. If this is a report that my music pack has crashed; it's the first I've heard of it. The specs you gave seem similar to my old laptop, which, didn't have any problems running it at all. There isn't any reason for a computer to lag while it's loaded unless the computer is severely outdated and can't run MM8BDM to begin with. As for MM6BOSS2, I'll probably add the core boss music to the pack along with MM9 things (Which is going to wait until V5 is released unless I just get an urge to update it).
