What's this about?
2ndcoop is a very serious map pack that allows you to save your favorite (and not so favorite) WADs from destruction at the hands of the evil trolls. 25 levels and 5 secret levels are playable at this time.

Can I contibute a map / be a beta tester?
We are not accepting maps or testers at this time. What we do need, however is:
* Par time submissions. Simply post a screenshot of the level complete screen and I'll average out the best scores for a future release.

General Tips:
* Don't start the maps through the offline skirmish menu.
* PLEASE set the skill to ultra-violence / 3 or lower especially on servers.
* If server lag becomes a problem in map08 / map06, try setting "compat_limitpain 1".
* Playing with "All enemies must be killed to exit" on is generally not recommended.
* Fly / Swim Up / Down is needed for the second secret map. The use key is required for a non-level secret in Map03.
* Switches with skulls on them are shootable. The red circlular switches can be stepped on to activate them.
* sv_unblockplayers 1 and sv_nomonsters 0 is pretty much a requirement. sv_sharekeys 1 and sv_samespawnspot 1 are recommended if the mod is too difficult.

Even though this isn't the most...serious pack. I'm honestly surprised by the amount of coding that went into this thing, and how well made it is.

Who says I'm disliking it? I love it! It really did provide me with a strangely entertaining half hour, and I the way you poked fun at pretty much every single map pack out there was just genius.

I loved 1 & 2 (only found 1 secret in MAP02 and I don't even know how. Good job with the "secret" aspect", then I got to MAP03. It looks like a barrel of fun, and Megaman found the secret weapon and the beginning, but DAT LAG. I cant say I haven't experienced lag before, but this was just horrendous. I'm guessing that's what I get for playing on Windows XP, but even for that....wow.

If you are playing offline and have FPS lag, then that is a possible issue that needs to be addressed. If you were playing online, yeah my server isn't exactly the best...

Actually, EVERY server I've been on so far has lagged like that. I think it is an issue on the mod's end (too much code or something maybe?)

The servers I've been on had some lags in certain places (Namely that one room where you have to shoot the Telly statues) but some levels have been working just fine.

Bots in cooperative modes are not supported by skulltag / zandronum.

(I can't tell the difference between HD and Dr. Freeman anymore; I usually identify users by their avatars) If there's more things I'd like to see in this, it's enemies. You have an awesome variety of enemies already, but if you added to it, it would add a whole new level of difficulty as you could put certain enemies at certain terrain advantages to make this even more of a challenge. Plus, I enjoy variety :mrgreen: . I would help out with this request, but I can't skin for my life and I haven't mastered coding just yet.

EDIT: The pipe in MAP03 "gave" me the wavebike, but it exploded right after. I even entered "give boatactivate" into the console and it just exploded as if I hit a wall. This is offline.

Sorry for the double post, but this HAD to be noted and I'm sick of editing my posts. In the water section for MAP35, if you die on the second part witht eh current pushing you, it'll push straight to the walrus, which teleports out and opens that door.

A patch has been released to hopefully solve some of the lag issues. Wavebikes also finally work properly now.

Im sorry but everything in this was really confusing for me. Things just became more wierd and confusing as I played this.
I like IXPack generating level thing though. But its just really confusing for me. But PM me when you start excepting maps again, I would love to make some maps for this.

Edit: I know its a beta and all but... Its just wierd to me.

Oooh boy,  I've been waiting to see this topic for quite some time now.
For a joke map pack, this is pretty good and funny.

One thing I don't get is why do you have the map codes as MAP###?
Isn't there better map codes that you can name them?
Or are these just temporary map codes for the current beta builds and you will have better ones in the final/full version?

My only complaint with this is the overall lack of quality in the maps, but judging by the backstory this may well have been intentional.

That and the fact that you can sprint through most of the levels without killing a single enemy fairly easily and the invisible bridge puzzle in Map05 is just plain unfair.

Overall, not bad for a co-op expansion, taking the backstory into account.

Hopefully the enemy issue will be fixed when more enemies are added. As for the invisible bridge puzzle...the non animated tiles are non animated for a reason.

Enemies are free for all to use. You may have to ask Magnet Dood if you can use the rembakun / giant springhead sprites, though.

As for ACS scripts, I'd prefer that not be copied. I'm not going to demand removal of them if you do use them though. The checkpoint script is free for all to use, as it's being replaced soon due to impatient people telefragging each other on every single map >_>.

So, uh, not exactly sure how I did it if I did, but I may have screwed up the cut scene for Unholy Development. I killed myself to get to the room, but apparently I was able to move around instead of watching it. I was actually in the middle of the cut scene for everyone else, and after it ended, it seems the two meme masters didn't spawn. Not sure if maybe I caused that with what I did tho. I'll try again later when I got time as it was late when I'm posting this.

I am proud to officially release 2ndcoop, the only mm8bdm mod with a dedicated dab button. Don't ask why this took nearly 6 years to finish.

I am going to release 2 pieces of bonus content (a boss rush mode and a bonus episode) fairly soon. I wanted to get this out this week. I will also work on at least 2 spin offs at some point as well.

Released an update to rebalance the bosses and fix some bugs.

Arena / boss rush mode is being worked on right now. Bonus episode may not be for a while as I want to focus on some other projects.
