I now have a much better understanding as to why it took so long for this game to be made and I'm probably more hyped for this than I need to be now. PLEASE LET THIS GAME BE GOOD... I feel like just saying please ain't enough, so I'm gonna go give the gods an offering, and probably sacrifice something to the demon overlord as well, just to make sure both sides would be okay with this.

Quick note, the pack ain’t done yet, I’ve still got a lot of work to do but the maps are looking good. Anyway, Lets get started!


Names Duora Super Gyro, though many just call me Duora. I am the creator of the DRSG Pack, the DRSG Master Pack, DRSG Reborn, Re: DRSG, SP, Remastered, Recreated, Reconstructed, Reimagined, Re:Re, Re-whatever else I could think of, now featuring Dante from you know what.

So what am I here for? What’s this all about? Well of course, I’m here to announce my latest set of creations that AREN’T too big... I think... that will all be in one sweet little file, available for only TWENTY BUCKS not including the cost of the season pass, micro transactions numbering in the thousands, and whatever else I could think of that I won’t tell you about. And what is the name of this pack you ask? Why it’s none other than Duora’s New Pack!... Wait that’s not right, let me try that again.


There we go, now for the other stuff. This map pack is currently planned to feature 12 maps, some more will be added in time. When? Who knows, when I feel like making something new. The textures in the maps will also be available separately along with voxels or whatever else I end up making, though that will be done sometime after the release, whenever that is. That's why this thread is being called my Workshop, it's to house all of my wares and small projects, with my map pack as the main attraction.

I'm... mixed on the style, he looks a bit weird to me. Probably because it's not Smash 4 quality Megaman... still, happy to know he hasn't been completely forgotten, though I'm also wondering why it took so long for this to become a thing.

It's because you completely broke the structure of the WAD file. WAD files have special markers and things need to be in a particular order or else everything breaks. Here is how the contents should look.



Oh, well now... You learn something new everyday. I always put stuff in an order I thought looked nice, guess that order just worked. Thanks for the information, I'll need to keep an eye out for stuff like that myself.

The map is in fact a WAD file, in which the music is in.

It seems like the only way to explain it is if I upload it for other people to look at.

It would be easier if we could see it, if you could supply us with pictures or the WAD itself, that would make it easier for us to identify the problem.

Make sure its a usable format, I believe the prefered format is OGG but of course there are others that work such as MP3.

And make sure the song name isn't too long. I believe the file name can only be 8 characters.

If you have the song playing through the "MAPINFO" file, make sure its set up correctly there.

I'm using Slade atm.
The "CHAMUS" file is the song name so yours should be whatever you named your song.

Okay I have a question, I recently (as in this morning) changed up my settings for doombuilder according to a post by CutmanMike for MM8BDM v5B, and now, whenever I test my maps, I'm playing doomguy, despite all the MM8BDM textures all being there and most of the hud and stuff. Problem is it's all Doom2 physics so I can't jump and stuff like I need to, and it just looks weird.

I'm using ZDoom (Doom in UDMF format) configuration and the only files i have being loaded up in the resources are the 5b resource thing Mike had and a really texture pack I made.

Anybody else experience this or know how to fix it?

I JUST GOT MY FIRST BADGE And am now gonna go check everyone's stuff offline, I have internet on my phone that I can use to play, so I'll be on the lookout for servers that might be up every now and then.
