Error joining doomseeker server

I can't join a mm8bdm server. When I join it, it says :"Failed to connect. Your protocol is different." I use zandronum 3.0 alpha and the server uses the same version but still it doesn't work. :(

Have you followed the steps here? http://cutstuff.net/forum/index.php?topic=10848.0 If you do doomseeker will make sure you have the right build.
