How to add music into your wad files?

XWE just won't stop corrupting my maps, and regardless of naming it D_RUNNIN, I don't think it counts MP3 as a valid music file.
Does anyone have a say in this? Does anyone use another program? Or at least where is Mp3-to-MIDI/MUS converter?

My bad, apparently you've only read the title which is a tad bit misleading. But the main point here is to answer one of the three questions. Of course, I read the tutorials, which is why I have XWE in the first place.

One thing I found is the order in which you place the file is important. Be sure to place the music file ABOVE the map marker. If it's below it, the whole thing blows up.
