[not a bug] MM1ELE spawn points clogged
« on: May 24, 2014, 05:25:45 AM »
I ran into an issue when setting up an offline skirmish in Elec Mans stage (for exploration purposes). Specifically, all but one spawn point is open... and the rest are filled with non-functioning clones of myself (which damage/kill me when I try to destroy them).

What makes things worse is that these clones not only persist even with no bots enabled, but they outright remove the spawn point they generated on... making it an endless tele-frag loop once I put actual bots into the map.

Additional info: I just selected the stage and started the session (no changes to the rules or score limit), but the map still functions properly in campaign. Also, I'm  reporting this as soon as I noticed it in Elec Man's stage... if it occurs elsewhere, I haven't noticed yet.

That happens when you load a map in coop, invasion, or survival...these maps are meant to be loaded in any other mode [sans CTF, One Flag CTF, Dominion Invasion, and Skulltag.]

This isn't a bug, it's how the engine loads maps in cooperative with multiple spawns of the same type.

Ah, yeah my bad. I failed to realize the game type defaulted to cooperative mode and not death match (which I honestly thought it did before). Sorry for the false alarm.
