I have to be the only person slightly annoyed by the lack of screenshots of what I'm actually downloading, because nobody's said anything about it yet.

You need to use an image editing program that supports transparency, such as Gimp (http://www.gimp.org/), Paint.NET (http://www.getpaint.net/), or, if you're willing to shell out a few bucks (or take to the seven seas), Photoshop. I'm assuming you're currently just using MSPaint, which does not support transparency (and is a pretty shoddy program to begin with).

Edit: On an unrelated note, I also can't help but notice that you've uploaded the RNC skins in a separate pk3. I like your initiative, however, while it is a noble gesture, none of those skins are actually yours, so I will politely ask you to take down that link. We can distribute this pack via the RNC expansion topic instead.

I can't be the only guy thinking that these all look suspiciously similar.

...Meh, not a lot to say.  Wing-Man looks like he might be an impressive piece of work (Though I think he may share Crystal-Man's body), but he's not out yet, and Penguin and Shocker-Man are so "meh" there's just nothing to say about them.  Good luck on your future endeavors maybe I suppose?

I don't exactly think he should run like Megaman, even if he is a Megaman edit. He had his own movement animations in other games, you could always try to mimic that.

Something about the headband on the back run animation bothers me, though.
His front and back fire1 frames look very strange.  Try reshaping the hands to show what you'd actually see from the front/back.

You had right about fire1 frames but i changes it and must i changes the walk.

I don't know if I can help, but surely you can do better than that. It's not even a slash, it's more like he's punching. You could at least turn the weapon sideways on the second attack frame, so that it at least looks like he's using it.

I'm gonna be honest, when I first downloaded this, I thought it was going to be shitty- I thought there was no possible way you could finish it that fast.

When I opened it up in Slade, I was truly astounded. This is a beautiful skin and I love the details put into it. The fin, the gas tanks... just wow.

Incredible job with this, FTX. One gripe, you left my crappy walking frame inside the skin at the bottom- you can probably take that out.

That SheepmanBF is. amazing. I never expected my sprites to look so epic in MMBDM C:

EDIT: just realized that the boots, gloves, and tesla-coil-thingys should be white instead of light blue, so it looks better with weapons other than the Y. Spear and Lego's Plug Ball. either way, the skin is amazing!

you can keep the tesla-thingys cyan, I would just prefer it if the boots and gloves didn't have cyan, as my original idea was having only the wool change colours. even if you keep it as-is, I'll still use it a lot! C:

Hope you don't mind if I offer some critique, as Saturn is one of my favorites out of the Stardroids.

- Walking frames look rather nice, though the feet on the first and third frames might do well being a bit closer together.

- I always thought the sprites with his hoop around him made him look a little constrained, but the front and back in particular make it more noticeable. Maybe making the hoop thinner could help a bit.

Other than those little things, looking great so far. Can't wait to add him to my already *massive* collection of skins.

But since Nintendo owns both Metroid and Kid Icarus, you can't really say it was stolen, just borrowed. In fact Kid Icarus 1 and 2 and Metroid 1 and 2 were made by the same team and ran on the same engine.

Well i can't changes the firing frame because that was the old tankman shooting and i can't find any other frames for tankman's hurt frame so i had them.

:EDIT: but i borrowed the armor to the side so now is better now. :twisted:

That hurt frame is much better. But why does he have 2 completely different firing frames? You know that the second frame plays when the shot is fired and the first right beforehand right? It's gonna look odd with his hand moving with each shoot.
Also simply because it is from an old sheet doesn't mean it is completely unusable, as most skins we have are of characters who don't even have walking animations. Trust me, try with the standing up right one, it looks different enough from the other frames.

Both shooting frames can be the exact same FTX, most skins with busters only have 1 frame that is just copied to both spots.

Take a quick look through all your rotations, you got some points that are grey where you want Cyan, and even a couple of Blue where you want Cyan on his back frames.

You are kind of missing the point. Just because someone may not know of a site something is posted on doesn't mean you don't credit them for having made the original content in which you used.  Megaphil made Tank Man, so by crediting him near your download link you are making sure people know it is his character and not your own, or an official one. I even gave credit to Korby on my download link to my version of Volt because he helped me by making the side standing frame for me. He did it from scratch so I gave him the credited  he earned. Don't you think the people who made the characters you did skins of and the templates you used for skins deserve credit for having done what of theirs you used?
And say Megaphil does know about cutstuff, or even stumbles upon us (we have been mentioned on many big name sites fyi), don't you think it would be nice to him to see his work being used and him having been credited for doing it in the first place?

Silly kids, I explained it before but the Ninja Spy has to be in the skins folder and then launch classes.
Then you select Shadow Man and change the skin, after spawning as him.
The class for the skin is Shadowman.

Did you consider Gilgamesh for Knightman?
Was he based off of Knight or Yamato?

Nitro looks good! I'd make the part just under his eyes just a bit longer and bring the forehead down to make him look a bit more menacing like in the art.

Ok im here with some updates, i have seen that Megaman Forever expansion no one cared about it anymore and i had still my skins so i had to upload it but no Pictures yet.
So i changed them into Vanila Skins from now, and Kracko from the Kirby adventure expansion were also dead but people still care about it but my skin had bad side frame so i removed it from my skins untol it get reworked.

Also a warning of the MMF Skins they were old skins so they might be bad.

Thanks, i needed a better download link as i didn't even have the skins anymore.

Well i might tell everyone who wonders why i don't do skins anymore is because i might be tired of doing very long stuff i have done. But i still works on stuff but rather are emeny sprites for props/stuff even if i'm gonna do one, it might be a emeny skin or a small one.

Oh i saw he used the early tankman skin so i fixed and replaced mediafire with dropbox!

:EDIT: I also saw there are some sound bugs with Gohma and Ninja spy's and some more i think?
But i'm not gonna fix it anyway, if you want Gohma's sounds just download the regular Gohma skin as both the download link and sounds works.

Sooo what i said before was ehh.. nothing. I'm back with doing normal skins again i think and i have improved the front page a Little bit and i made a new skin called Groundman-FC!
And now you wonder "Wheres the download link down there?" well i didn't add it because of i never updated the full skin pack before and even then i never reuploaded the regular download links because i have a hard time right now so i uploaded only the new full skin pack.

 So if you want the new skin! Redownload the full skin pack then.

I renamed it because so it dosent break up the dos skins in the dos beta.

Also i updated Groundman-FC Skin a Little bit, i updated the small two drills on the skin which did nothing while moving.

Oh, I didn't notice FC Ground Man!

I like FC Ground Man better than the normal 8BDM one. 8BDM Ground Man looks too tiny

one question, though. Where's the download?? The first post only goes down to Mirco Goomba, and I do not want to have to download the whole pack to extract one skin (I also have a few of your earlier ones, meaning I'd get duplicates if I just used the full PK3)

The only downloads here at the all skins download because of how long it would take to upload the whole again as the whole skin pack isnt just full with PK3s.

I don't see the issue about StarDust About at all it looks fine to me.

As for fixing my skins and making it to a single download, i wouldn't Think so because the reason why i had them all into a whole skin pack was due having too much updates to the skins (EX Tankman). But i would really like to have posts about skin issues here.

And for class compatible skins i had in mind doing a few ones like Gilgamesh, Fake Skullman and Weatherman. But there are a courple reason why i'm not doing them and including taunts with the skins, not do that but i would make my own taunt pack including my skins taunting as well.

Pretty sure BF Style does stand for Battle & Fighters, I was told this around the time the guy showed the sprites to me initially, but it's been a couple years so maybe I'm wrong?
