General Gaming Discussion / STAR WARS: Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy
« on: May 24, 2015, 01:03:20 AM »
How much I played with this game during the late 2005, but never installed again since the disc blowed up within the drive of my ol PC. Now I got it from GOG.com in digital release, and work like a charm. :)

Alongside with the Unreal Tournament, this game requires no introduction. It is the last game in the Jedi Knight series, and the most Jedi/Sith oriented one too. The game focuses on saber combat and Force use, but still has a decent load of firearms. There are different styles for the saber, and many upgradeable Force powers. Alongside with the skin, you can customize your character by selecting those styles and powers. Has a superb story mode, but it is more fun in multiplayer. It is also very modable. It uses the id Tech 3 (Quake 3 Arena) engine, and its scripts are very similar to the one used in the Doom's PK3s and WADs.

For celebreting the rebuy, I uploaded a video:

Also I has a bunch collection of custom maps from old community. Some of them are no longer on the net anymore, but I uploaded them again. :)

My router isn't really supports any kind of port forwarding, but if you can host, I'm always here for some action. :D

Rejected / Teleporter suggestion
« on: April 26, 2015, 02:45:20 PM »
Since the new Zandronum adds a new teleport script, and it is not works with older map's teleport, I have a simple request. Could it be possible to add an option to the offline skirmish and the server menu? An option to turn off the teleporters. With this the players and the bots won't activate the old map's teleporters accidentally by stepping on it.

General Gaming Discussion / Ultimate Knight Windom XP
« on: April 04, 2015, 03:15:49 PM »

One of my favorit games, easy to learn hard to master. The Ultimate Knight Windom XP is a console-like mech arena fighter. It's all about giant mechs fighting against each other in a destructible stage. With the PowerUp Kit and the latest patch there are 24 playable mech, and an NPC only warship. It sounds good, but first you need to unlock them by playing on the game. Some of the mechs shows similarities with other mechs in the same type, but all of them are unique in the terms of weapons, and movement options. There are transformable units, long range missile fighter álá Itano Circus, or massive heavy mechs.

The core gameplay is similar to the Virtual On and the Gundam vs. series. You can lock-on on one of the possible targets, and all of your shot (except the special purpose weapons) will target that opponent. Most of the weapons has more or less homing ability. All of the weapons can be set to different buttons, and has separate recharge time, but uses the same energy gauge. With the exception of the true long range fighters, every mech has melee weapon to deal with the close range targets. The melee attacks can be comboed, canceled, and even sometimes has special combo options. There are also a special option called OverClock. OverClock will enhance the regeneration speed of the weapons, the energy, and the boost, and decrease the cost of the special moves. You can anytime activate it if you have enough Ex.

There are also a special feature: you can make your own pilots. This mean, you can add voices (or basically any sounds) to the pilot. These sounds will be played during the corresponding events (for example when you attack, one of the attack sounds will be played). It is not hard to make a pilot, and it is really fun to hear your favorite character's voice. Of course you can add custom musics too.

The game quite superb in multi player mode. You can play it split-screen in the same computer up to 4 players (requires gamepad). Also you can play it through the internet up to 10 players, either by connecting to servers, or making one with the included server files. It is easy to use the server, just choose the game mode, and click on start.

This was a lot of writings. For some rest, here are two gameplay videos. :)

Skins & Bots etc / Zero Skin
« on: February 26, 2015, 04:04:08 PM »
Hi! I'm new here, and wanted to start with an upload!   However sorry for my bad english.  :p

I was searched many times for a not dashing Zero skin, but was unable to find, so I decided to make one myself. This Zero is based on the GameBoy Color MegaMan eXtreme (which has an X3 style Zero, my personal favorit design), and the edits was made from the style of the SNES games, and Nickaly's Zero skin. The most notable changes are the better backview step frames, and the sword position (now the sword always on the same side of Zero), as well the edited frontal stand frame.

The skin also inculdes a music from the SNES Rockman X2 (MegaMan X2), the Absolute Zero (Hunter Stage 1). To use this music, just type this into the console anytome: changemus chunter. Chunter stands for Counter Hunter.  :p

Feel free to use, edit the skin, and if you improve it, please share the edited version here.  :)
