Move to WWW because that DOES make a lot of sense, doesn't it?It does indeed. Splendid thinking.
Got a $10 iTunes card for Valentines Day which I used to get the SA2 soundtrack. It doesn't have E.G.G.M.A.N.? Get your money back immediately. That is a travesty, good sir.
also go get your vidya games songs in the general gaming threadThis, I revived the VG music thread for a reason.
I'm just gonna drop these here and be on my way...Oh cool, another RJD2 fan.
I can listen to this nonstop and never get tired of it.

But whenever anyone talks about Crush 40, they immediately think of "What I'm Made Of," so I went for something a little different~False. When someone mentions Crush 40, I immediately think of "I Am (All of me)". Good thing I only picture them with StH, eh?
Oh hell yes. It's pretty eclectic and disorganized, but it's one of my favorite Zeppelin albums (along with Physical Graffiti and III).(click to show/hide)
I swear I have this curse where I can't like something without realizing it's overly mainstream in some way shape or form after I'm done with itEh. Once you realize that an artist's popularity (or how known he is) is virtually unrelated to quality, you'll get over that. Because popularity doesn't REALLY affect sound at all. (If you can't, well.... Go listen to more mainstream artists. Or what I post.)
This dude is amazing :DOh, please. ParagonX9 is a girl!
Go and listen to more of his stuff.
I dare you!
Feels is "objectively"* AnCo's best album(click to show/hide)
He picked music that I would instantly label as "generic electronic weeaboo crap". At least, it was something close to that. I picked this. And yet, were Galaxy not so kind (or perhaps more informed), he could just as easily label your music "generic indie rock crap". Granted, Japan does have the tendency to produce some unsettling things in the music world (see goreshit above lol), but you have to figure: MM8BDM is still based off a Japanese franchise. As such, music selected for custom maps would be easy fit if taken from things that sound like similar Japanese video games. Music that's designed to be part of an album/commercial release would have a different intent; it'd be a square peg. Whether or not listening to indie music over Japanese music signifies "better taste" is terribly subjective (and I'd be inclined to disagree). Having a strong taste I would argue is rooted in variety, since listening to a larger variety yields higher diversity. Across this thread I've tried to make each track posted in a different style. There are multiple commercial or 'mainstream' artists I could use in this thread but I don't because I'd rather expose people to something *more* different than what they're probably familiar with.
were Galaxy not so kind (or perhaps more informed), he could just as easily label your music "generic indie rock crap".It's weird, since Galaxy decided to listen to a playlist of Animal Collective music and said he liked it. Maybe I could do the same and start listening to more Japanese EDM.
Honestly, it's greatly bugged me for a while that in order to be a "music fan" you have to listen to things like Radiohead or Animal Collective. Everyone I've met who claims to have good taste or interest in music all listen to that and it gets old. I don't really care what people listen to, as long as it's fresh. That's all I ask for!You don't really have to listen to those two artists to know about good music. I mean, I listened to lots of different artists before I finally got my hands on a Radiohead album. My taste in music didn't change much after I listened to them. I personally don't think it's necessary to listen to either band, but I highly recommend it, and that's what most people do. And I agree Tessaractal, this thread needs to display different kinds of music. If you find yourself listening to the same genre or artist, or you refuse to give another genre a chance like I did with Daniel, you'll never really be able to branch out and experience all the different music that this world has to offer. You never know what genre or band you'll end up liking next.
Yes. This song is amazing.(click to show/hide)
Ew, why the 2007 version and not the original '70s recording? Motorhead's a bunch of senior citizens now, but they were at least semi-decent back then. Pretty nice regardless.(click to show/hide)
I have a very weird, contradictory taste.
Nas is an amazing rapper. That he is.
Maybe I could do the same and start listening to more Japanese EDM.Well, not just Japanese EDM,
Nothing wrong, just a slight appreciation for speedcore or breakcore. Take your pick.
Just came here to say this song is amazing. What song? I only see a blank space where a video should be.
"Low is like perfect" ~ NostalgiaIndeed. I mean, side one is full of great pop songs and side two's full of atmospheric goodness. What's not to love about it?
Thank you so much for reminding me of The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy. Man, I wish they had Shazam back in 2004.(click to show/hide)
By the way, Nas is an amazing rapper.Yes he is
Also, what kind of music should i listen to? I dont really mind the genre as long as it isnt country and im getting tired of electronic, so yeah. You could look at Mendez's post, and join the army of pitchforkers. You could listen to a bunch of white dudes mumble incessantly over a guitar drone, and then talk with others about how sophisticated you are for being able to appreciate something so banal. (And maybe enjoy, too, if you convince yourself) MBV released a new album of that sort which is critically acclaimed - it's a great start to that sort of drawl. Hip Hop's at least got some sort of meaningful attitude behind it, for as long as you're willing to listen to those people's problems.
I'm officially addicted to this song.dude i was addicted to that song a long while ago(click to show/hide)
I found this video by Epee Em which explains why Dr.Regal is a shit villain (he sang this because MMBN4 traumatized him)Get rid of the "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=" part and we should be able to see it just fine. Right now I just see a blank space.(click to show/hide)
This is the most pretentious, overblown, self-indulgent album I have ever heard and that's why it's so good. I am physically incapable of not listening to this at least a couple times a week. Someone please send help.that might be my favorite album ever, and i think it's one of the best things made(click to show/hide)
Millie & Andrea - Temper TantrumYes please
Neon Indian has been one of the very few chillwave/synthpop artists that has yet to release a bad album, and thank goodness too.man, you beat me to the punch. I forgot about this album after that single was released but then I got excited over it again when this came out:(click to show/hide)
