Title: [CUSTOM EXPANSION] Kirby's Adventure

Hi all! I thought of an idea, to make an expansion for the classic NES game, Kirby's Adventure. There will be skins, maps, weapons, and bots included. Sign up below!

Marked DONE when PM'd to me.

MAPS: Since I am in no way a good mapper, a map or two by a veteran mapper would be highly appreciated. I will rip the tiles and send the mappers textures.

We are going to need weapons sound effects and music for the stages, of course. PM me if you are interested in ripping them.

I think I can help, for Kirby's sake. I would help with skins, but I have my hands full with that right now, so I'll take Sleep, Cutter and Beam right now.
I hope this gets some attention, it's an interesting concept, with Kirby possibly changing skins along with powers and all that.

I'm no good at mapping yet, so I guess I'll be doing skins!
I'm assuming the abilities will be going by their Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland appearance, because Kirby only changed color when he got an ability in Kirby's Adventure.

Although, I don't know about the sound effects. My computer's recording is acting up, so it'll be a while before I can figure that out. But as soon as I do, I'll get right to it. I'll even extend and loop them for you! :mrgreen:

I would like to politely suggest you don't make the copy abilities into skins. If you made the enemies into skins, however, this would be a far more popular pack.

I may or may not make a weapon or two.

I agree. This is Kirby Adventures, there weren't even hats. I rather be able to run about as Sir Kibbles or Pengi or Waddle Dee or one of the meta knights. You get what I mean.

Before I begin with the music, first tell me: Do we need the map themes of each stage? Or should I just get the stage themes?

Of course I'm going to be getting the (mini) boss theme, and a few other extras.

I can pitch in, I'll do the Gordo skin, possibly others, but, as you all probably know by now, I'm new at this.  What exactly is expected of me?  I'll presume I'll have to get it all the way to a full skin download, but will I need to write/program a bot chat as well?  Also, there's the issue of resizing; should I really be going off of that tiny sprite?

...All right, I successfully finished a spritesheet, and I think it looks pretty good.  However, "where I come from," we always look to improve before the final product.  I'll post the spritesheet I have, and I want you to, obviously, tell me how I can make it better.  And if it looks good, well...say that.

Also, since Gordo always hovers, should I place it a bit higher up when I'm aligning it for programming?

Gordo is round! Your side views look like a prism rather than a sphere. Also the front/r and back/r's spikes are kind of rouned.

I actually thought I had done a good job on the diagonals...

But yeah, I really did make him less of a "ball" and more of a "coin."  Y'see why I bother to ask what people think?

For Burt, the back view looks kinda boring.  Nothing much you can do about that, though.  Also, how will you handle palette changes?

For Scarfy, he looks pretty good.  Just a suggestion, here, but I think that if he changed into the other form while attacking, it'd look a whole lot better.

Well, Chaos, technically, you CAN have all directional hit poses, but it doesn't fit in with MM8BDM's style to have them. Same reason why I whine about altfires on weapons.

I add hit poses for all directions habitually. I usually only leave two if I'm lazy or if I think it fits the character more.

Well, then, I'm kind of stumped about how one would apply attacking, then--and movement, for that matter.  Same story with Burt, although movement is easy for him--flapping his wings.

On a note to the maker, if this is an actual chapter addition, shouldn't we save the Nightmare as being the boss for all of it?

For scarfy's attack you can draw him with his ears blown back and his mouth in an "o" shape. It's simple but so is Kirby.

I don't think that would look right for Bronto though, maybe he can glare you to death :evil: .... maybe not. :?

So sorry I've been taking so long with the music. I was busy with my own stuff. But now that my latest skin is up, I'm going to take a break from my own work and get your music ready. Expect it to show up sometime soon.

He looks kinda silly, but you'll get past it--Gordo's finished!  Of course, the SFX are default, because I don't have access to such a thing.  Surely you can fix that before the final release?

Turn it off on Display Options. And the skin is too square and small in my opinion. In fact, most enemies are too small. They should be edited to fit the game a bit more, instead of just using the official sprites.

I think most enemies are okay with their size. I mean, if we made the small enemies bigger, we'd have to make the bigger skins bigger too! Characters like Dedede and the mini bosses would probably be too large in that case.

Saw this project and thought it was pretty cool.
I made a Kabu sheet. I'll probably do more enemies, too.

It hops around, similar to Toad Man. I also gave it some facial expressions, just so the poses have more variety. If you guys think it's good, I'll make it a pk3 out of it.

uhh yeah, its all skined up and stuff (HEY YOU, GUY WHOS PICKY! you may notice that the cyan color is not the right color, I AM AWARE OF THIS, for some reason when the sprites are grouped they wont use the right cyan color for me, for no reason! so its fine in the skin! ok?)

I was working on getting some tiles put into mapper-friendly textures for Vegetable Valley for my Expansion which you murdered.  I could still work on them in case anybody wants to use them...or I could use them to make a map if you want.

Not to mention the eye(s) could be better. They look to square to me, even when I zoom in. That and on most games the eye covers like 99.99% of his body. But maybe it's just me.
Other than that, HELL YES WADDLE DOO.

the arms i cant do any better then what i just did to them now so thats sorta fixed korbs, as for the eye, the only way i could make it better everywhere else is if i make the eye skinner. like this (http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn271/brawlman9876/th_Untitled-4.png) i can NOT make them any taller because the official sprite (the side sprite, if your wondering) is that tall, so i cant make it taller or shorter. FIXED VERSION WILL BE SOON (also, the back side view doesnt have arms raised for the walking, thats fixed in the skin itself, i forgot to change it in the sprite sheet) waddle doo was surprisingly annoying to make the eye look well. so yeah

I'd make something like Fountain of Dreams the CTF map.  That way, one of the main areas wouldn't be reduced (or inflated?) into a CTF map.

While the subject is maps...

One, it looks like Green Greens wasn't in Kirby's Adventure.  I am unsure where it first appeared, but it appears to not be Kirby's Adventure.

Two, you might want to add the Dream Shrine to the list of needed maps, as an arena for the boss fight.

Green Greens is not really an area in Kirby's Adventure.  However, I assumed he meant the last level (the black and white Kirby's Dream Land stage).  Also, what the heck is the Dream Shrine?  Do you mean the Fountain of Dreams?

Also, I have a request for somebody.  If anybody could find or record the door sound effect for Kirby's Adventure and send it to me, it would be greatly appreciated.  Nobody on the internet seems to have Kirby sound effects beyond "HIIIIIII" and "FALCON PUNCH" and it's really annoying.

Actually, according to the introduction sequence (http://www.spriters-resource.com/nes/kirbyadv/sheet/2579), it is the Dream Spring--but that's a debate for another topic.

And Magnet, why not do a boss?  I understand that a boss sequence can be the hardest part of programming a game, but still, we could just skin The Nightmare and give them an exclusive weapon like Dark-Man, right?

But, neither of those are the important part of my post.  I'm taking up doing Flamer now.

Hm...I'm beginning to think there might be a random European and US difference.  Either that, or the game has two different names for the same place, because it's definitely the Fountain of Dreams here http://spriters-resource.com/nes/kirbyadv/sheet/2594 and in Super Smash Bros. Melee.  I guess I never stopped to watch the intro story when playing Adventure.

EDIT:  BTW, sorry for the last post.  Rereading it, I did not mean for it to come out as "IT'S THE FOUNTAIN OF DREAMS, NO EXCEPTIONS", but it certainly reads that way.

Well, there is an unofficial enemy template now, and it could kind of be used--but it's hardly up to me.  I think I'll stay out of arguing with programmers until I've actually programmed what I suggest.

But again, that's not the main reason I'm here.  I finished spriting Flamer, and, as with all my skins, I'm posting for thoughts first.

Actually, since there will be no boss, how about we have Dream Spring be the CTF stage?  Someone a couple pages back said that it seems silly to take away one of the stages for a CTF map.  Since we want a CTF map, and Dream Spring was--more or less--just an arena for the final boss fight, why don't we just have it be the CTF stage?

Seriously, what kind of ability is hi-jump? You...Do a big jump. And yes, I do know how good it is, but still...I guess you could say Light ability is pretty silly, too. You light up a dark room. But their enemies are pretty cool.

I'm just a bit confused with the pain sprites (I think they are the pain sprites), they don't seem too recognizable. The rest look perfect to me though.

Yeah I always thought Light was a pretty useless ability but I loved the enemy. Maybe because it was a rare sight in most games. I've always been more of a Beam/Cutter guy, ever since I played Kirby Super Star.

Yeah, the pain sprites do look a little awkward. The plan was to make it look like he was being pushed backwards but on closer inspection, it just looks like he's standing still. I'll fix that soon.

In super star, I always liked the Jet and Wing abilities. Cutter was pretty fun, too.

They're now based off the GBA pain sprite (at least, I thought it was the pain sprite). Gave him some dots around his head to show some expression. Should I keep the dots or get rid of them?

And also, I have used the GBA enemy sprites in previous skins to see the pain sprite Brawlman, but thanks for directing me to it anyway. I guess originally, I didn't see the pose I needed.

But that's not why I'm here (damn, I say that a lot) .  I'm here to ask Magnet about skinning The Nightmare--in NO RELATION to him being a boss.
Because of the way the Star Orb is made--simply a ball with a star design on it--I think it'd be awfully difficult to show different rotations for it, especially for making a walking animation.  Below are my recolored plans for a rotationless Nightmare.  However, I'd like your permission before I go any further.

Will do, but there is animation; its walking animation is its four "spinning" frames from the actual game.

Exactly.  I think it looks hideous and bland, and I also believe that representation of direction of fire is a silly request to begin with.  The other rotationless skin, WeeGee, was made using only two sprites--no walking animation, no shooting sprite, just one forward-facing sprite and one pain sprite.  As far as I can see, nobody complains about that one.

But, since you've asked for it both ways now, I guess I'll leave it up to Magnet, that is, if he hasn't abandoned this Expansion Pack yet:  Firing rotations or no?

I like the all blue one better when I look at it now. The orange body actually makes it look like it's sticking out of the different colored flames, while when they are all blue, it looks doesn't visually jump out.

Well, I was going to do them separately. If I could think of a way to do it, yeah, I'd make 'em both in one skin.

EDIT: I thought of a way. Perhaps the other could be floating above one in their moon/sun form and they switch places for certain actions. For example, Shine for Firing and Hurt and Bright for Standing and Walking.

They could be standing next to each other. Might be a bit confusing hitbox wise, but would be awesome if pulled off correctly. Should be eight rotations so that it's not one guy in front the whole time and maybe you could make it so that Mr. Shine attacks on F and Bright on G?
Anyway I really wanna do Metaknight's skin, but I hate the original NES sprites so I might do a custom one based on Nightmare in Dreamland's sprite. Don't put me down until confirmed.

Meta Knight shouldn't be custom, he should be the same as the Adventure sprite.  This is the Kirby's Adventure expansion, not the Kirby 8-bit expansion.

and to be fair, this was Meta Knights debut. So back then, this is what Meta Knight looks like! And what people will expect him to look like for the expansion.

It's like the MM8BDM Bass skins. I liked the SGC Bass better, but the current Bass if the official one.

Well, last thing I remember doing for this project was discussing Shotzo. I did end up doing a few rotations, but I'll just show you guys what I've done so far.

Actually right now im kinda busy so the map will take a while especially since Megamanmafia.
i have 2 work with

MegaManMafia V3A and stuff>Turbo Man Contest Map>Butter Building>Star Man Remixed>Stranger Tides (CTF)>Another Planned Map (Either S.S.Anne, Train CTF map, or another CTF map i sketched out myself) so this WILL take a while. The eyes are the only things rotating in that spritesheet. The spikes are inconsistent. Other than that, it's good.


As for cappy, I'm not sure. We may make two separate skins for that. But then again, it'd be hard to tell which way he's facing with his cap on.

What do you mean by inconsistent spikes?  Also, I wasn't sure what else to make rotate besides the eyes, given Glunk's sorta simplistic shape-- I always thought he was kind of an anemone, with tentacles going all the way around.  Maybe I could change how the tentacles look from different angles...

Kinda like Korby's idea for Cappy's cap, though.   :p

On the first configuration, his hat only pops up while he fires, which seems more in keeping with his behavior in the game, though it pretty much keeps you from telling which way he's walking.

On the second one, I tried to implement Korby's idea of having the hat move while walking, and
his hat also still pops up while firing.

Looking at it now, I could probably move the hat closer to his head on some of the hurt sprites.  Does anyone have any other suggestions for alterations to the sprites, or a preference on the configurations (or even a new configuration)?

I want to try to get this as good as possible, since this seems (at least to me) to be one of the more iconic Kirby enemies.

Also, on a totally unrelated note, will this expansion have a bonus level that incorporates the Crane Fever, Egg Catcher, and Quick Draw minigames?  :p  Maybe the Museum area with powers on pedestals, even...

* = To do a campaign, you have to use MAPINFO to create a "new chapter", so it appears along with "Start" and "Credits". You can't make it selectable in Dr. Light's chapter selector.

Hey guys,

I think I decided to go with Configuration 1, but I also tried to polish it up, and give him a better-looking walking animation that's more recognizably walking, and that hopefully lets you see which direction he's facing despite his hat.  I think I had something like the tentacle-hopping from Day of the Tentacle in mind.

I think that if the weapons were infinite, you would only be able to hold one at a time.

Maybe the "weapons" wouldn't be weapons at all. Rather, the weapon pickup positions would be actors that morph the player into a new class (assuming they're not already the target class, we don't want infinite loops). Morphing a player locks them into one weapon, so you don't have to worry about weapon switching.

This would be pretty cool if you combined the class characteristics with the weapon sets. For example, the Parasol class could have a "floatier" jump, and the Fighter class would have slightly increased movement speed but slower strafe speed.

Bullcrap! Roboenza zombies can pick up Large Health packs from Bright Man stage enemies ALL THE TIME, and they use morphing (as far as I'm aware).

Well, it could also be done as items, such as Bass Buster and Proto Strike.  Not only would this make players only have one power at a time, but it also would relate back to the actual games (you have to actually swallow a weapon before you can use it).  I dunno, just a thought  :p

Normal: We have to have the air blast somewhere in here.

Sword: Melee attack. Fairly strong, combos if you hit multiple times.

Parasol: Melee attack. You float down while you're holding it.

Fire: Would probably be similar to Flame Thrower (by DTD) or Sink Spray (by Korby) or Double FireBlast (by JC) - Shoots short-range projectiles that rip(?) and are stunless.

Burning: CHARGE RAGE HNNNG

Ice: Similar to Fire, but freezes foes in place temporarily and is less destructive.

Beam: Launches a beam-whip with a set pattern (Left to right?)

Spark: Star Crash while standing still anyone?

Tornado: Charge Kick meets Top Spin. Lethal as all hell, but hard to control.

Bomb: <EDIT: My bad, this power didn't exist back then>

Laser: Fast-moving Gemini Lasers

Mic: Three shots, big explosions, last one resets your power to Normal. Hitting with all 3 can kill someone. (30=>40=>60 damage?)

Crash: One shot, big explosion that pushes foes back(?), then reverts you back to Normal.

UFO: Charges like Atomic Fire, can fly, is awesome

Star Rod: Shoots stars as well as doing a melee.

Aaaaand I'm gonna assume that there will be no Mega Man weapons in the KA maps? Especially since most KA weapons are close range, so giving them weapons like Yamato Spear would be a bit unfair.

Also, how will one differentiate different weapons from each other? Aside from Sword, Hammer and Parasol (which would have their respective weapons being held by the skin like Proto-Shield) and Fire and Ice would be red and blue respectively, there still lies the other weapons.

And have more weapon ideas.

Ball: Similar to X1 classes Armoured Armadillo's ball-rolling-bouncy-thing, except non-bugged.

Stone: Transforms player into an invincible, immobile rock. When you're in stone form, you lose ammo. Crash down on people below you!

Sleep: Become immobile and slowly gain health. One use.

Cutter: Throws blades which go forward, then go backwards. Ripping?

That's how I was going to make Sleep work, actually. But it'd need to be either fast enough so it's not completely useless or it needs to completely regenerate health, maybe a mix of both.

About Cutter, I'm not sure if it should be ripping. I mean, it stopped in it's tracks after it hit something in the official games. It could pack extra punch to make up for that.

Just so everybody knows, Cappy and Togezo are finished and submitted.

Also, I agree that hats probably wouldn't work very well with all the varying skin heights we're probably going to have.  But on the other hand, I really do like the idea of having a single power at a time, with infinite ammo (and potentially stat alterations).  That seems closer to the original game, and would make the expansion much more distinct and interesting (and fun!).  Would the weapons pickups look like the enemies in frozen form, like in the game?

...Actually, glancing at the last dozen pages or so. Actually, I believe the starter of this expansion was banned (violating the "no leaving" rule etc.). Ignoring everything I just said... This expansion is going to be tied in a knot faster than you can say "radaw woom" if someone doesn't take control. I suggest we nominate people and once a person gets 3 nominations, he is eligible for running. I nominate Korby, Gummy, and xColdxFusionx. There are really SO many unanswered questions that need a definitive answer (not a democratic one) that I'd like to see a head person.

I think Nightmare Star Orb was already maybe maybe finished by Chaos Fantazy, though it's probably fine for you to go head with your own if you just want to make one outside the expansion, or if Chaos's never got actually finished and submitted somehow.

Also, Kapus has been keeping this rolling in MagnetMan's absence, so he would probably be the best one to take over, if anyone does...

Aura - It was the only "front" sprite I could find, but at least I got the answer I was looking for. I'm not spriting it, sorry.

As far as the sound effects, I'm not sure whether there's already somebody working on them, but I thought I should point out this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-omZ9OJt1lc) the Kirby Wiki links to with all the sounds.  I'm not sure whether we would need permission to use them or not, but it might be easier than getting them from the game itself...

Since I just realized that MagnetMan is currently on an indefinite hiatus from Cutstuff (http://cutstuff.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3041) (as Roc referenced a page or so ago), I kind of agree that we need someone to take over for him in running the expansion, if that's possible, to keep track of all this stuff and make executive-flavor decisions, so that this thing can eventually get finished.  (If no one else wants to, I would be willing to do it, though admittedly I only have experience making skins and maps with custom textures, so far...)

I think Whispy Woods has been debated about before, but I put him on there in case people still wanted it...
Also, I don't think Warp Star was on Magnetman's original list, but I guess I just left that on there when I was making up the chart since it seemed potentially feasible.  Something like a flying version of the battery powerup from Kirby's Air Ride, maybe?

Yeah, Whispy Jr. probably would be out of place, but I think a normal Whispy skin (probably sized down quite a bit) might work-- he could walk around like in Kirby's Dreamland 3, and make his grumpy-lookin' face when he attacks.  Definitely he would fit best as an obstacle/boss in the Vegetable Valley level someplace, though.  Maybe both?

That might work; another possibility I had thought of was making doors on the wall be teleporters, by having invisible teleporter boxes near wall-textures.  Maybe?

EDIT: Also, I don't think I've seen a Sir Slippy skin anywhere (though I might be wrong), so unless somebody says something it's probably safe, I guess.

Just to clarify some things.

1) Sir Kibble was taken by Lakister
2) Yellow Devil is no longer doing Meta Knight
3) Whispy Woods is a prop for Vegetable Valley and was finished by me a long time ago.
4) Zellough made the Kirby skin.
5) The Grape Garden stage is taken by me.


I don't have any confidence in leading an expansion, but I'm doing my best to keep this one in order.

Brawlman:  Thanks!  I think you're right, Mr. X didn't finish Pengi/Ping/Master Peng.  I do think he left what he had in case someone wanted to finish it, back on page 21 or so, so I guess if someone wants to do that they can pick it up.  I'll mark him as unfinished on the list.

Kapus: Thanks for straightening all that out for me, Kapus; I'll get that fixed on the list. :geek:

Aura: Those look great-- I think they would probably work well in-game!  The Hammer sprites look really good, too.

Lament: I'm not sure who you'd send them to yet; I think we need to designate someone as a leader, who would be willing to assemble all the different parts of the expansion into the final playable wad.  Like I said earlier, if no one else really wants to, I would be willing to take it on...

Also also, Lego, do you want me to take you off of your weapons on the weapons list?

I actually saw the corollary to this which is "we have two people assigned to each map so that if one of them drops out, the other produces a map. If they both stay in, we get two maps" which would be an effective situation here.

As for the "Warp Star" issue I'm going to go with Aura and say use them for one-way teleports. (The alternative being using them like they were in Smash Brothers. Depends on how much you like canon-ness.)

Then I'll finish up Vegetable Valley so I can move onto Ground Man.

Really? Last I heard, Mr. X hardly got anywhere in the map and sent it to Magnetman to finish. Magnetman actually finished it, so the one Mr. X had is outdated.

However, since Magnetman is gone, this choice is indeed for the best. Thank you for contributing, Ivory.

I think moving to a new topic might be a good idea, since it would make updating the front page easier, at least, as well as make it easier for people to see what needs to be done, and maybe even lend the project a bit more focus (though it seems to be moving along fine right now).  The only downside would be needing to dig the old topic up when we need to find something previously finished, like in WIP form or something.

The question would be, who should start the topic?  I would be willing to do it, but it certainly doesn't need to be me, or even use my list; I was just trying to recap what we have so far.

If we do decide to move over, I would suggest we decide on a leader/leaders to send our finished work to before the move.

I and Shade Guy have both volunteered for some degree of authority (and maybe some others?), and I guess Kapus is okay with assembling stuff for people, though he doesn't want to be the leader.

What do yous guys think?

Okay, one thing before we create a new topic: Do we actually have every skin that has been completed somewhere? I've sent all mine to Magnet, but I do still have them lying around in my files if need be.

Also, I think we need to get into a discussion about how abilities will work and confirm something.

I borrowed a bit from Squeak Squad's 'stomach system' and thought about this: everyone can only have one ability at once, but how about when you run into a ability trophy (since that seems to be the current thing we're using), you get an item in your inventory (one use) and when you use it your ability changes? For example, run into a Fire trophy, get a Fire item and when you use it you change into Fire ability. This would allow abilities to be stored for later use and it means if you run into an ability, you don't neccessarily have to use it straight away.

Also, hurt could use more of a 'shocked' expression. At the moment it looks like his eyes are wide open and he's standing still.

Hm...The darker shade of blue only seems to act as anti-aliasing. I don't have much of a problem with that, but would it be possible to colour in the balls revolving around Kracko Jr. with the darker blue or something?

I honestly think Kapus' edits are more accurate. If you look closely enough to the frames in the actual game, they don't look "wide" at all and the feet are not far from each other.

Would anybody mind if I officially took over leading this expansion?  That way there would be a definite place to send stuff, and if you guys want I could start a separate topic and set up polls to resolve questions like "How will the weapons work?" that probably need an answer before anyone gets too involved in making the expansion components in question.  Plus things might run a bit more smoothly with active decision-making and such.

I would still need to ask a lot of opinions probably, since I don't feel confident enough to make too many dictatorial-type decisions.  Alternately, I could run it in tandem with someone else, like Shade Guy (or Kapus, except I don't think he wants to), if that might be better.  (Though of course they would both be fine running it by themselves if they wanted to, too.)

I would definitely be in favor of having at least one other person keep a copy of the expansion-so-far files, like Shade Guy suggested, so that if someone has to drop out everything's not all kaput.

Thoughts?

(Also, Metool, did you mean opinions about the hopping, like from the people you sent the skin to, or just about the sprites?)

I have no problems with you taking over this expansion. I could be a side person to also give skins/etc. to in case you suddenly run away.

I once mentioned an idea I had for weapons, so I'll repost that when we get into that discussion.

Also, the Sir Slippy skin; it doesn't appear in game. I checked the loadup and it said something along the lines of 'Skin Sir-Slippy has no frames: removing'...So you might want to fix that.

Please refrain from posting links in the thread. The point in PM'ing skins is so people have something to look forward too. Besides pasting a link in a PM and clicking Send isn't exhausting.

I agree. Super Bondman has done quite a bit with this expansion, so he should be able to lead it quite nicely.

I'm glad people are agreeing with this. I was the one who asked Bondman if he'd like to take over.

Well, if it's okay with you guys, then, I guess I'll get started.  Would you actually want it in a separate thread?  I think that might be the most convenient thing, rather than making Korby edit the front page all the time.

Also, I'd be really glad to have Kapus and Shade Guy help me with this; I definitely could use someone to ask another opinion about things, especially since I want to keep the quality of the expansion up, even though my inclination is to be pretty lenient.

I tried out the Sir Slippy skin. If you used the original wide version for the front/back poses, I would reccommend you replace them with the edits posted in the thread. Also, on the hit frames, Sir Slippy ends up in the ground. Please edit the offsets for those rotations.

Aside from that, it's a pretty good skin.

Sorry, I haven't gotten around to starting it yet...  I wanted to make it somewhat fancy-ish, so I was holding off until I had time to do that.

Buuut... I think I'll be able to have it up by the end of the weekend, at least, if not before. :geek:
