(SOLVED) Virus: Megaman 8-bit Death Match Rootkit?
« on: September 26, 2010, 10:47:08 PM »
Hi. I have never been on a forum before in my life. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. I have the Megaman 8bit death match game and I love playing it. But my virus scanner says that the file has a rootkit and apparently it's malicious. So can someone tell me if this game really is malicious or if my antivirus is just making a mistake?

The only malicious thing about the game, is how addicting it is. So, yes, your virus scanner is wrong.

You should probably report this on the skulltag forums, along with what antivirus you use

Thanks for the info and the funny joke. I posted the same message on the Skulltag forum. It's in the middle of being approved, but I'll update this post once I get an answer. Thanks

Hey you guys. So I asked at the Skull Tag forums and they cleared up the situation. It's not a virus according to them. And if you want to read the post and read what they said, here's the link to the forum.

Thanks for the help.
