V3A Technical Issues
« on: December 23, 2012, 08:29:01 PM »
Hey, I downloaded V3A and am having two general problems.

1.) Every time I use Doomseeker and I select a server, it opens the launcher.
Then I have to open the game from the launcher and select the server from a very long list in the game itself.
Before, I just double clicked in Doomseeker and -BAM- I was there.

2.) V3A is in a window, and I can't make it entirely full screen.
Parts of the screen are eaten up by the top of the window, and the toolbar on the bottom.

1. I have no idea how to fix this, sorry.

2. If you tried setting it to fullscreen in the options, delete and then pernament delete all the v3a files you have, then download v3a again, and install it over again, if it still doesn't work, try setting the screen size to the same size as your computer screen, then try fullscreen

For #1, did you set your path to executable to be Zandronum.exe or MM8BDM.exe? Make sure it's Zandronum.

For 2, try pressing Alt and Enter at the same time for results. If that doesn't work, try messing with resolution settings.

I dont want to be rude or anything, but I honestly think that answer does more harm than good.

Thanks A lot for the suggestions, guys!
That really helped!

Special thanks to O.J. and LlamaHombre.
That did the trick exactly for both problems.
