Korby hasn't revealed yet, I don't believe.
'Scuse me! Korby flipped earlier, and Ivory was referring to me, unless he was mistaken as to who he thought was Ganondorf.
But I won't say in case the game goes on.
I asked KD whether he was going to bother updating further and he said "probably not", so I don't expect the game to continue. Consider this a definitive post on behalf of the villains.
Hello! Ganondorf here. I'm the one that has been killing you all these past two weeks. At least, I would like to say that, but the truth is that my only successful kills were on Night 3 and Day 6; GBT and Thunder respectively, and even GBT was technically someone else's kill. Everyone else was killed by you, the heroes. Granted, villains contributed to lynches, but early on we wouldn't have been able to lynch a player without the support of heroes. We had a couple of plans set in motion to kill more players, but I don't suppose any of them will be actualised.
Here is my team's roles:
King of Evil – Ganondorf - Shade Guy
You are Ganondorf, the King of Evil! You are the leader of the ‘mafia’. In order to win the game, your team must meet one of the following conditions:
1. Kill every Link, thereby collecting the Triforce of Courage.
2. Acquire the fully charged Master Sword and kill all sages.
In addition, if you have been revived as Ganon, your team can only win via condition 1.
Active Ability: During each night phase, you may use your Triforce of Power to target one player to kill. This is the normal mafia kill.
Active Ability: During each day phase, you may use your Triforce of Wisdom to target one player. You will learn that player’s identity, but not their abilities.
Passive Ability: Unless the Master Sword is in play and valid, you cannot be killed.
Passive Ability: If you are killed and Vaati, Ghirahim, or Twinrova (combined form) remains alive, you will be resurrected as Ganon, who has the above abilities (except for this one), as well as the following:
Active Ability: Every night, you may select one extra target to kill. If that target is not a Sage, they will not be killed and everyone will be notified that you have resurrected as Ganon.
---------------------
Evil Spirit from Beyond – Phantom Ganon - SmashBroPlusB
You are Ganondorf’s most notorious tool, Phantom Ganon!
Active Ability: Once per day phase, you may target one player. If that player is a Link, that player is incapacitated for the rest of the cycle, and all of their actions are negated. You may not target the same player twice in a row.
Passive Ability: If Ganondorf or Ganon would be killed, you will die instead. Publicly it will seem as if you had been voted for.
Passive Ability: If you die, you will be resurrected in three cycles as long as Ganondorf or Ganon is alive at that time.
---------
Evil Sorcerer – Vaati - Korby
You are Vaati, the evil and ambitious sorcerer!
Active Ability: During the day phase, you may activate this ability to stop everyone from voting that day. You may use this ability two times only.
Active Ability: During the night phase you may use your magic to target one player. During the end of the following day phase, that player will be falsely revealed as Vaati, with this exact ability card. You may choose whether or not the below ability is revealed. You may do this once only.
Secret Active Ability: Once only, you may fake your own death. Your abilities will be revealed except for this one. You may no longer vote in lynch votes, but you may use abilities. The only hint that you live will be in the number tally on the front post. You may reveal yourself again by forfeiting the rest of your abilities, but you will be allowed to vote again.
Passive Ability: You cannot be lynched during a vote unless you do not vote.
--------------------------
Doppelganger – Dark Link - Awbawlisk
You are Dark Link, a formidable doppelganger of the real Link!
Active Ability: Once during the night phase, you may target one player. If that player is a Link, you will both be unable to vote for one cycle. At the beginning of the day phase during this ability’s duration, all players will be notified that the battle is waging, and all players will learn the identity, but not abilities, of the Link. At the end of the cycle, that Link will die, and you will die.
Passive Ability: As long as you live, Ganondorf will receive fewer votes than are posted for him, equal to the number of living mafia members minus the number of living Sages. Minimum decrease is 1.
Passive Ability: You cannot be lynched during a day vote unless at least 6 Links vote for you.
---------------------------
Ancient Artefact – Majora’s Mask - Magnet Dood
You are the mysterious nefarious force, Majora’s Mask!
Active Ability: During the day phase, you may activate this ability. In three cycles, the Moon will drop, and will incapacitate four random players for one cycle. You may do this once only.
Active Ability: You can control the weak-minded. Every night phase, you may select one player, and tell them whom to vote for in the next day phase. The public will be notified that the vote is forced. The next day phase, that player will automatically cast that vote.
------------------------
Demon Lord – Ghirahim - *Alice
You are the Demon Lord, Ghirahim, loyal to the will of Demise!
Active Ability: During the night phase, you may select two people who voted in the previous day phase. In one cycle, you will learn the identity and abilities of one of them.
Active Ability: If you are targeted by an ability, you may choose to redirect the target to any other player. You may do this three times total.
Active Ability: During the night phase, you may select one player. All votes in the following day phase that select a member of the mafia will be redirected toward that target.
----------------------------
Koume - Super Raveman
You are one the Gerudo witches, Koume!
Active Ability: During any phase, you may select one target. That target will die in three cycles, and will be notified when this countdown begins. You may do this once only.
Passive Ability: If you are targeted by the effect of a sage, you will be notified of the identity, but not abilities, of that player.
Active Ability: Once only during a day phase, you may choose to fuse with your sister Kotake to form Twinrova. Your active abilities will be reset. However, only one of your votes will count during day lynches. If one of you is voted highest during the day lynch, you both will die. In addition, your roles will be revealed publicly. You will also gain the following ability, which will not be revealed:
Active Ability: During any phase, you may activate this ability to the reveal the identity and ability of one random, living Sage.
--------------------
Kotake - Knux
You are one of the Gerudo witches, Kotake!
Active Ability: Once only, you may target one player during any phase to incapacitate for two cycles.
Passive Ability: If Koume dies, she will be immediately resurrected.
Active Ability: Once only during a day phase, you may choose to fuse with your sister Koume to form Twinrova.
The secret upgrades to the Triforce of Power and the Triforce of Wisdom were:
The Triforce of Power can be used during either the Day phase or the Night phase of every cycle.
The Triforce of Wisdom will notify its wielder of the location and charge of the Master Sword at the resolution of every Night phase.
Despite our slow start, I am confident my team was on the verge of victory; we could probably still win even with all of our roles revealed! This is because I knew every other player's role before people started flipping, save for Rozark's (I found his out after the mass-flip), Hilman's and Chaos_Fantazy's, and I know how the game would play out. How? I should elaborate on Smashbro's "meta-scumming", as OJ put it.
On Day 2, Smashbro made a seemingly-random post complimenting Accel with the subject "Re: [MAFIA] Farore's Wind - DAY 2". This was bait. Multiple players inferred this as Smashbro being cheeky and hinting at his identity, and got in communication with him via PM. Smashbro then made a fake role, claiming to be Farore (this was the first role he posted in the thread), and shared it with people in exchange for their roles. Smashbro reported all of this to my team. When the heroes started cooperating and made a private Skype chat, Smashbro was added to it. When the hero chat made a list of confirmed innocents, Smashbro was added to it. It seems no one ever reconsidered his innocence, despite obvious evidence suggesting otherwise. Process of elimination and careful reading of KD's plot snippets should have indicated that there were only three kinds of roles: Links, sages and Ganondorf & co.. There was no such thing as goddess roles; seriously, why did no one from the hero chat bat an eye at Farore appearing as an NPC?
Anyway, whenever someone from the hero chat found out a player's role and posted it in the chat, my team knew about it. As such, I could tell you that I knew 5 players that could revive others. 2 died on Day 6, 2 more would have died this phase, and the last was to be incapacitated this phase and killed next cycle. After that point, I believe there would have been no way for the heroes to recover. My team had enough vote-modifying powers to dominate the day phases, either forcing a majority vote or merely cancelling all votes for the day if it looked like one of us was in threat of being lynched, and I had two extra lives in the form of Smashbro dying in my place and me being able to secretly revive as Ganon. So the heroes' defeat was likely inevitable.
That said, I'm still disappointed in the people who gave up on the game early. Outside of the mass-flip, I've heard of dead players requesting to not be brought back into the game and people admitting to never really wanting to play in the first place. Players should be able to commit to the game as much as the host; giving up on Smashbro's game of mafia was reasonable since he himself gave up on it, but KD has been managing this consistently from the start. Lego and Ivory, you were set to die this phase so I wish you could have held out a little longer instead of triggering this domino effect of concession.
Since Smashbro's spy work influenced the game so much, let this stand as a lesson. To the heroes who weren't in the hero chat, this may seem incredibly unfair as this was a crucial part of the game that you were not involved in. However, blame those who were in the chat for clearly not spy-checking well enough and essentially feeding information to the villains. Without this, it is likely that the heroes would have fared much better. Communication in mafia games can be easily manipulated. Either put some forethought into adding players to your private Skype chat, or stay away from the medium entirely. Incorporating extended communication and cooperation in mafia games is an exciting prospect, but it seems players weren't able to quite handle the metagame it could provide.
