Hi! this is just a topic for talking about random sonic stuff like your favorite game, any wishes to Sega, favorite character, fan characters of yours, etc.

THIS IS NOT MEANT FOR TROLLING AND FLAMING!

alright, so here is some random crap i would like to say:

My favorite character is Tails because he is only a kid yet he has the mind of a genius. My favorite game is a tie between Sonic 2 and Sonic colors. Yes, I do have a fan character, two to be exact (in fact I have more these are just my main ones) Eon and Rush (obviously). Finally please sega make a sonic game using a similar engine to SA1 and SA2.

Everytime I see Sonic Generations stuff I have to give mad props to Sega. They're doing something with Sonic that I wish more classic franchises were doing; revisiting all the favorite old stages, music, bosses, and things from old games with an entirely new game. I know a lot of it is nostalgia, but I love it so much and don't see the evil in making new things with characters and places people already recognize and love.

To quote the review I never wrote for Sonic 4 Episode I:
"Don't get me wrong, Sonic 4 was a pretty good game--it just wasn't the Sonic I expected.  I'm sure that if they bring back the old physics everyone was expecting, and make the game, well, not-so-cheap in killing you, that the next Episode will be much better.
Overall, I'm giving this game Seven Chaos Emeralds...out of ten."

The physics murdered it. If they fix it in Part II, it'll be fine, but the physics plain suck the way they are now.

it's good, just it's extremely short and the physics engine is not the same as the classics.
also GET A LOAD OF THIS!

I think it sounds alright, but the guitar drowns out the actual beat of the song quite a bit.

I'm interested to see how playing as modern sonic will compare to classic sonic though. Would they slow classic Sonic down to his original speed?

On an unrelated note, I prefer the STH3&K final boss remix over the original one (inb4 ragestorm)

If they remixed the remix, then I'd agree with that.

I agree with the final boss music thing, and I also think the midboss music is better, in my opinion.

The one midboss theme in stand alone sonic 3 sounds like it doesn't belong in a sonic game but the S3&K one is great.

Would they slow classic Sonic down to his original speed?

Going by my experience from the demo, they have slowed him down to some extent. so you still have complete control most of the time.
