I had to do it about 20 times because he set my bed as his spawn and he kept trying to loot my chest.

I don't have time to maintain this thing so I'm just going to take people's words for it. If you want to be a moderator (i.e you're gonna play often) let me know.

I made a safe spawning area made out of bedrock, for newcomers to not get owned at night and never return.
