Well, now that I look at it, it says first gets 100, 2nd gets 50, and 3rd gets 25.  However, the e-mail I got specifically says "We are pleased to inform you that you have won second place, $100, in the Leland Essay Contest..."  Looks like I've got to look that over.

Still, $50 isn't bad.

aha! the talk about whatever thread. time for a rant.

the good: I have defeated the final boss of demikids dark version and many of the extra bosses, (lucifer), I also got a monster named pazu which lowers the encounter rate to zero!;


the Bad: I have worked with netbeans before, and I decided to install it on my own computer, result headaches, and a lot of lost memory. I will probably disappear from life once I get it working though. I love coding :geek:

Ok you guys, I'm thinking about buying a PS3. I found a pretty cheap one, an original model with 40GB.

What I wanna know is how much better the new slim models are and if I should pay the 70 extra dollars for one.

While I don't personally own a PS3, I do know you should probably go with the cheaper one. Really, it depends on your income.

Really? Because that's one of my biggest concerns, along with wondering if 40GB is enough memory...

But I also figured that if it does break I could take it back, GameStop's always been good about replacing/refunding my broken things in the past...

ps3 has no games

Surely 40GB hard memory is enough for simply save data and a few PSN games. The wii only has 512 MB of flash memory, and it gets by fine.

Anyway...I've been taking an interest in Interactive Fiction. Probably known to most of you as a text adventure. I've started playing it again, and actually starting making a little. To REALLY get started I need to register my ADRIFT.
And find some walkthroughs...I LIKE text games but I'm not GOOD at them...

edit: Also I wanna kill my firefox. it cant use mediafire! It stays at "processing download request". I have to use Internet Explorer to download from there!
