Anyhow, I agree with Myroc. I'd rather not have fan made robot masters in a holiday expansion. I'd rather go with official things.

Woah woah woah, now slow down just here, lad. I've never said I hate this game. Hell, I like it. It's a pleasant change of pace compared to most other FPSes (and games in general) out there, while still staying true to its roots. It breaks tradition, yet not. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with the game itself. Now on the other hand.

And I can be blamed for this? Take a good look. We have new people vanishing as quickly as they appeared because of trolling and general unpleasantness rampant on the servers. People are more interested in petty additional eyecandy and childish tomfoolery added to the game rather than the game itself, and I can't remember the last time I had an intelligent conversation with someone on these here forums. I love the game, I hate the people who play it.

Alright, let's review your creations here, then.
[*]A zombie horde mode that doesn't capture the feel of an actual zombie horde mode and completely misses the point.
[*]A community map pack that's turned from "general map pack" into "get your own shoddy map onto the server that hosts the above mode" pack.
[*]Vanilla Classes were okay, because, like above, they broke tradition yet stuck to it, in relation to MM8BDM. Then came Cutstuff Community Classes and Touhou Classes, which just made me facedesk. Even the GvH classes, while a decent tribute to Mike's previous projects, really doesn't belong here.
[*]Skins upon skins upon skins based on the most laughable things ever. (There's a goddamn lamp to start with, I won't continue with an extended list because I have more points to adress.)

Besides the modes? Let's look at all the fan-creations. Hell, let's take this "Halloween man" as an example. How does his design, in any shape or form, relate to anything Halloween related? Not to mention mostly the entire fanbase takes their creations like they're new gods upon this world and we are not worthy of questioning them.

Quite frankly? I've been wondering this myself lately. But besides looking after both PoweredUp, RocPack, several other projects I'm a part of, as well as writing for the MM8BDM blog?

I'm not going to argue, but I just thought I'd mention this.
Halloween-Man's stage starts in a rainy forest late at night.  The enemies consist of Skeleton Joes, Battons, those Mummy enemies from Pharaoh-Man's stage...essentially everything that got into last year's Halloween skin pack.  His abilities include creating a phantom of himself that also launches attacks and the ability to summon skulls.  Oh, yes, and his weapon resembles Shade-Man's.
So essentially, he's all the generic things that pop up in your mind when you think about Halloween.


Anyways, I just thought I'd bring him up, because he's from a well-known well-done fangame.  And because he's, y'know, Halloween-Man.  Oh, well, there are other ways I could get this done.
EDIT:  No wait, I messed up.  Halloween-Man's ability turns him intangible so your attacks can't hurt him.  Still sorta has to do with phantoms, though...

While I agree that Halloween Man should not be made for this pack, I do have to say this:

Keep in mind, some other robot masters don't look like anything they're supposed to represent. For example, if Bomb Man wasn't carrying a bomb with him everywhere, you would have no idea what he's supposed to be other than a guy with a mohawk.
