No thanks.
And....that's what pirating is for sometimes.

I think there should also be some tutorials that none have mentioned yet, things like:

A good guide for all/most of the Skulltag settings that MM8BDM supports, that players are going to want to change,
instructions for setting up OpenGL, which is mainly turning off all the advanced lighting settings/stuff.
Heck, maybe even something like a template Skulltag settings INI file for MM8BDM!

One thing that CutManMike should do is include a new TXT file with MM8BDM that says how to do all this stuff.
Now that there's supposedly more players than ever now, there is now a really good reason to do this.

*AHEM*
I kinda wanted to know what everyone thinks of my ideas

Anyway, I think after quite some time I realize that I actually like the level of skill that I am at for a player, for the most part anyway.
I notice that alot of these elitist skulltag players tent to basicly develop a greed with their skill. (By alot I mean NOT ALL, BUT A GOOD MAJORITY OF THEM)
What I mainly mean by that is this, it gets to a point where when they become "so skilled", they forget everyone else that's different from them,
and so when you have a case when they can take advantage of, and murder the noobs, they do just that. Little do they know that they
are creating a bad sign for the newcomers, clearly they only care about themselves and they say "Ether you fit in, or you Get The F*** Out."
Quite frankly, I for one do not want to become the same as them.

Now I know it definitely is a different story when you have nothing but elitists around. In a case like that, then I guess it's ok for the pros to unleash all their powerz
on each other. However when you have a few noobs in the game, the pros should go at least a little bit easier on the noobs and/or give them a little bit of help.
If they do not and they always just abuse the noobs whenever they can, eventually the noobs are going to get sick of being abused, and they are going to leave.
Look at what happened with the I.R.W.C. clan way back in the S.G.C. demo, and if you don't believe me, ask BlueBrawl. Is that really what you want pros?
If so, then that makes you guys self-centered, careless @$$holes. I know you guys are EVENTUALLY going to get board as a board playing with the same mods and players
over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

Oh well, I know I might get replys from the elitists/pros saying things like "That is not going to happen 100%."
or "Quit UR bitching" but I don't care about them as they do not care about us.

Speaking of, anyone know of a good (freeware) recorder that can intercept audio output from Skulltag? I've tried CamStudio and apparently my sound card doesn't support recording from speakers.
Actually Balrog, I found a way around the Camstudio problem. If you go into your Windows sound settings and set your microphone to "internal sound" or something along those lines, then the recorded audio will be streamed directly from the computer. Just use "Record from microphone" in Camstudio from there.

I used that fix for my second Taste the Rainbow video and it works like a charm!

So this sudden spike is already over, I guess? The last remnants of homies make servers with names such as "slyfox join you could be a captain" or "slyfox enter here". Or maybe Hotel GBT and Classes scared them off ("authentication failed? screw this game, i can't play"), or maybe DM already bored them to hell.

So yeah, Ivory was right: they crumble and leave just as soon as their little idol stops paying attention to the game, and await for his next reccomendation just to share time with him.

Still, we seem to have gained a few new people in the community from this little outburst, so it's not much of a loss.

That's what the sensible people were saying all along.

Most of them will leave, and we'll have new people regardless.

NOTHING but good came from this.

I have been saying this for a while, whenever we spoke about the homies on the game itself, I'd always make that comment, and look?

this homie thing is getting ridiculous. i got kicked from some servers cuz, cvideo (the player) keeps going around acting like a hypocrite, telling me that am a "homie" and kicking me for no reason.
yes, i may sound like bitching here, but getting kicked off of multiple servers for hypocrisy is bullshit

cvideo is NOT a homie...or maybe he is, but that would just be a coincidence:  he's been playing the game before the homie thing started.  He likely just hates homies and kicked you off for that reason...which is still BS.

I can vouch for you Mr. Shadow. You weren't doing anything wrong.

But I must admit that its a bit ridiculous myself. Even though I just showed up here, I was on a server named SLYFOX COME HERE! This sever had it set so you had infinite item usage so you can theoretically spam infinite Tangos, Trebles, all that. I for one went with the Trebles and I got kicked for taking advantage of a server setting.

I would explain what happened, but I'm pretty sure Mr. Shadow over here would just deny everything I said.

And by the way, I may be a jerk but I'm not a hypocrite. You accused me of being a hypocrite and not Cvideo.
