Why is there no vanilla servers?

I usually tamper with my own mods that I don't release, so when I try to get on a server, poof. Wad(s) error. I know this has to do with not having a mod. I think that we need more vanilla servers. AT LEAST WITH THE RUNNER SERVERS.

Just a suggestion.

Are you editing the actual MM8BDM-v2c.pk3? That may be screwing you up when trying to join a server.

If you were joining the Saxton Hale server, then I had the same problem.

The lack of vanilla servers is the reason I quit playing MM8BDM online. Every time I went to play, all that got played was roboenza. So now I just get the tech club at my school to do lan parties once a month.
When I get my desktop built, and upgrade my internet, I'm considering hosting a perm vanilla server.

I'm basing this statement off of over a year ago, when I quit.
Just came by the forums the other day, checking things out. Seems kinda dead.

Haven't played a good vanilla map in about a month and a half now.  Last good game I had there had about 20ish people in it.  The classes server has been getting a good amount of traffic these days.

It seems like the only saxton hale servers recently have been really laggy, except when celebi hosted it

Also, I noted powered up (I have it in my downloads folder, but it crashes for some reason) is up there and the deathwind mod servers... Ugh...

1. You can with the launcher, but to keep it, you have to save the settings and to make it 24/7 as possible you have to load it and keep it open, and keep the PC on... Unless you use that hamatchi crap...
