It's mostly due to identity issues I've struggled with for the longest time. My social life IRL is a total mess because of it. I have two distinct personalities, so to speak: the me you see on the internet, just me being myself, and my real life self, someone who desperately tries to be a "normal" people pleaser in hopes of avoiding negative judgement and fitting in. I get the impression that people (especially girls) seem to dislike both of them. My real self is too weird and nerdy, and my fake self is too boring and forced.

Graduated high school and spent a full year employed. I'm quite satisfied with 2015.

Just be yourself and walk with more of a backbone. I'm totally comfortable with being a nerd around my employers, and they don't even bat an eye considering I do the job super well.

The year started out nice, but things definitely got bumpy for me the latter half of 2015. I wouldn't say it was bad but it was pretty okay. I just hope 2016 will be better.

Also, I agree that college is the best place to meet people.

Online social stuff wasn't really good this year, a lot of me sitting around thinking how no one is around...

Not quite looking forward to next year, because after I finish high school in June, I'll have NO CLUE what to do next. I got a vague idea, but not anything beyond that

2015 was an alright year. Most years have been pretty bleh so I don't remember them as a whole, just individual moments.
I sorta wish something memorable that I would enjoy would happen.

Meanwhile, Super Mario RPG gets a rerelease for EU virtual console on the Wii U.
No word yet on if NA is getting it.

This year has not been good to me, I'm afraid.

2015 was a great year for me, I'd say.

Published a mod that enhances certain aspects of TLMS, made a couple maps for v5, and spent another happy year helping to make Mega Man 8-Bit Deathmatch a fun game.
With the help of SmashBroPlusB, we also made our first full game together. It's still got a few bugs in it and it may not have gotten the best score in IGMC, but I'm really happy we got finished. I couldn't thank Smash or the rest of the Nido Force team enough for the opportunity.

As for academics, I'm currently in college, looking at a graduation in Spring 2017 graduation.
I made a couple great friends in my department and got past the "gateway" courses this semester.
The only real downer was that I have to retake Calculus, which will put a damper on things.

I look forward to what 2016 has to offer.

Cutstuffers! I disappeared from both the forums and Skype a few months ago, and while I could list reasons why of varying legitimacy, possibly the truest and simultaneously worst reason is that I don't really have one. But since it's that time of the year and I live in the future, I felt I ought to end my absence and be the first person to wish everyone a merry Christmas in this topic, seeing as it actually is December 25 for me now.
I'm going to be fairly busy over the next week but I'll properly check through the forums and log onto Skype soon to see what I've missed.

2015 has been a slightly better year than the previous two. I made Contra Doom, for starters, and people liked it. I survived a mafia game where the townies won in the end, which made me feel pleased. I got to experience the joys of Super Mario Maker and Undertale.
