Just thought I'd pop in to announce that Christmas Carol Remix has been released if you'd like to update the OP.

There's another trailer specifically for MMCCRemix you can use.

Speaking of MMCC Remix, how can I get it to work? It keeps saying that "joystick2.mfx" is missing EVEN IF I DOWNLOAD THE MISSING FILE!

That makes no sense. It can't be a fangame if it's made by the same people who make the normal games. Otherwise it'd be an offical game.

Fangame means its a game that makes a homage to a certain game, and made by fans.

if sonic88 made eherything of it he should upload it at mediafire not a capcom website.

Actually Capcom [Unity] found it a year after it was done. Since they see it was worth showing. And they wanted to mass advertise the game.

That's why.

And they were generous enough to upload it to their site.

Didn't feel like explaining this earlier, but to nutshell it real quick:
The playable roster/feature count was way off the charts of feasible; The spritework was less than impressive (Last time I was there, Roll's sprite was Roll's head plastered on Proto Man's body); the bosses were too large, bland, lifeless, and not in-style by any standard; everything looked too damn easy to do; it looked like a mess.
Granted, it has been a fair while since the last time I looked, but the last time I did look, I was not impressed.

Anywho:
> Mega Pony has now released its second "episode," refining upon the original's content and adding the rest of the Robot Master levels.  Later, Khao will release the third and final "episode," which will add the Castle stages and thus make the game complete.  Technically still in demo phases.
> We've let a real gem get by us this time—Mega Man Revolution, a completed fangame.  Its primary features are mostly unknown to me, given as I'm still working through a good number of other Mega Man fangames before this one, but I can tell you it features both Mega Man and Bass as playable characters, the return of the Mega Arm from MMV, and a slew of new Robot Masters complete with what I can only determine to be an actual story.  The game is complete in the sense that it can be played from start to finish without interruption, but the developer (Whose name I cannot find to save my life) says that the game is still being developed. They say that they plan to add more features to the game, the primary example of such being a co-op mode.
> ...Details are scanty, but according to the comments in this video, I think Mega Man 9000 might be back in business.

Oh nice! Thanks for sharing your finds, CHAOS_FANTAZY. I'll be sure to add em to the main post!

Also, should I add Super Mario Crossover? It has a pretty large Mega Man component, even though it is technically a Mario fangame. Would also mean things like Mushroom Kingdom Fusion would be fair game, although I don't know as much about that game...

The lack of robot masters / stardroids / other kinds of major bosses with obtainable weapons in SMBC kind of disqualifies it.
I mean, it is not really a Megaman fangame, it is more like a mario fangame that happens to contain megaman characters.
(It's kind of like saying that the MvC games count as Megaman games, just because Roll, Zero and other characters are available)
