Hey everyone!

I didn't really leave but I've been gone for about a week. And mentally absent frequently for even longer than that. KD's #Summer2015 wasn't the greatest in many private respects, and this August has seen many pretty deep changes in my life and in my responsibilities outside of the forums and MM8BDM. I've been relatively inactive this month as I've been adapting to these changes and balancing them all. I've told a few of you some of the details but suffice it to say that I've been struggling in many aspects haha.

So, to cut to the chase, I'm posting here to let you all know that the dust isn't settled quite yet. But my Go-Goggles are on at last and my passion for MM8BDM and for Cutstuff's community has never been stronger than it is right now, so I am. I have a lot to do and catch up on, and I'm pumped for all of it!

I'd like to ask you all to forgive my recent (and less recent) absence, and more importantly to be excited about what's in store for MM8BDM... though I know I don't really need to ask that of any you nerds  

Also thanks to Korby and Michael for being awesome while I was gone!

Welp, I think it's time to just say it. Recently, my internet provider was changed to a much, MUCH faster internet provider. The problem is that the set-up isn't make for a family of 5 (I'm starting to question if it's made for a family of 1 actually) so it randomly cuts off and comes back on. For things like just normal web-surfing, it's not so bad since it comes on right back after.

HOWEVER, for online games, you NEED a stable connection in order to stay connected. If you've seen me as of recently, you would notice that I join and then leave right after. So, yea, all online games such as MM8BDM is now unplayable. Worst part? I know for a fact that my internet is not gonna change for at least a year, and that's being lenient.

I think the best you can do to is connect your computer directly to the modem/router you are using for your internet connection so that online gaming doesn't stutter so much for you. That's what happened to me when I replaced my modem and couldn't play online games from my room. It's not convenient, but it works.

Since your whole family's using it, you'd have to connect it to the router's LAN ports.

Two problems:
-Turns out, I don't crash because my internet is too slow persay, but I crash because me joining a server literally stops the internet from working for evceryone using it. Yea, it's only for a moment, but still...

-My computer is really stupid when it comes to ports. Bad enough I only have 2 USB ports which you have to use up to connect a keyboard and mouse, but, besides power and microphone ports, that's all it has, so no LAN cable sadly.

I'm leaving for awhile for IRL reasons. Long story short, I'm grounding myself from video games so I can focus on important matters like college and work. Unfortunately, that means I probably shouldn't stick around here or skype where everyone's squadding up for games.

I'll be back later, around the middle of May or June when the spring semester ends. Until then, stay gold.
