OK, or not.
« on: May 11, 2012, 07:24:46 PM »
I can get my maps to work 100%, but, they will no matter what instantly swap to cooperative. Why is that?

If that is through Doom Builder, then that's default.

If it is not through Doom Builder and you are using the map command, such as "map mm1cut", then you will, no matt1er what get campaign, it's just the way the game works.

To access the maps in any given game mode, go to multiplayer menu, and then Offline Skirmish, doing so allows you to choose any map from any game 1~7 as well as the game mode and game modifier. (Which the only modifier that has anything happen is Buckshot)

Available modes in the spoiler
(click to show/hide)

also, you can add bots to the game using the botlist function.

If you ever instand to play online, you may want to get Doomseeker or Internet Doom Explorer and look at Ivory's uber list of mods. Although, the list is a little bit outdated now.

I set the mode to deathmatch on offline skrimish, but suddenly, POOF! Mod is coop, and not deathmatch.

Skulltag defaults to cooperative if there's a player 1 start in the map. If the map only contains deathmatch starts and no player 1 starts, it will default to deathmatch.

But that makes it say that there is an error which is "No player 1 start" and the map just doesn't load.
