Question about modifying weapon colors
«

Greetings, I have decided I wanted to make the Ballade Cracker use the boss palette instead of the normal palette. I have tried editing the wcolors file to use the numbers associated with the boss version of Ballade Cracker but that failed to work. Anybody know how I could make this work? (even if it'd only work offline.)

You need to compile the script once you've edited it. If you're using SLumpEd you can simply right click WCOLORS and hit compile. You may need acc.exe though, which it will ask for you if you don't have. You can grab it from zdoom.org
Whether it will let you connect to someone else's game with with a different script stuck in there is a different story though!

Good news! Most of the MM7 palettes are in the game!
Bad news!
You cannot use color mods online!
I must say, using Atomic Fire with Noise Crush's palette and seeing Enker with the coil's palette is pretty fun.

That's too bad. Since the Ballade Cracker's colors were broken, I was hoping to use the boss' versions until a fix could somehow happen.

You can still use it offline, as I have shown in the screenshots topic, though.
It's not the same as online...
