Note: this mod requires the INSTAGIB modifier.
So I made a mod where you fire a rifle. I could have been just a buster weapon but people like that rifle so yeah. It's the same rifle my CSCC class uses in instagib mode but a little modified. I don't know if Project Prism is going to have instagib support so I put my rifle in its own mod.

How to play:

Press Primary Fire to fire.
Press Secondary Fire to use the scope.
Shoot enemies to kill them.
Hide behind walls or move fast to prevent enemies to aim correctly.
Use item to reload.

This is still in development because I want to add a few gimmicks.

This mode is a lot of fun, definitely a cure for itchy trigger fingers.

My only complaint is that the recoil effect is a bit too jarring for my tastes.
Other than that, this is great!

I mentioned a couple suggestions in a TLMS server.

I suggest giving a muzzle flash to the player sprite spawned as an actor. This is crazy easy to pull off and would help dealing with long range foes you're keeping watch on, since using altfire places the player class into the missile state like fire.

This would more clearly differentiate when the another player scoped in or fired.

The other suggestion was fixing the speed getting reset to default after scoping in and then back out since 8BDM now has special speed settings for Instagib.
This can be accomplished by setting the scope out speed to 1.25 instead of 1.0.

I also suggested team colored HUD sprites, for all 4 teams. It feels weird to have the blue hand and gun when you're on the Wily team.

BETA 6:

- Cases aren't ejected when reloading if they already were after the last shot.
- Players won't lost their "instagib" speed after zooming in and out.
- HUD Arms now display team colors.
- Muzzle flash and smoke effect added when shooting.
