Title: Can't change name?!

I just moved over to a new pc and downloaded MM8BDM onto it so I could keep playing it but I can't change my name. The moment I leave the player options menu the name is changed back to "player". I've tried going into the config file as well but even if I change it in there the game only recognises me as player. Can anybody help?

Unfortunately, the most I can recommend is downloading it again and transferring your Zandronum save data (it has your name on it) as well as every other data you'd like to keep, to that new version.

Your name might be too long. If it's too long, the game will automatically rename you to "Player."
