I'd imagine if V7 comes out, there will be a Stardroids team in multiplayer, and there will be two songs used, for victory and losing, obviously. I think the "Space Rulers" should be the victory theme, unless it will also be used in the campaign mode, in which case, the "Weapon Get" theme should be the victory theme, whereas the losing theme should be the "Game Over" theme.

This is a pretty impressive effort, all the music sounds really nice, and the new Wily Boss theme isn't too shabby either.

Skins & Bots etc / Re: Official Request Thread

I would love it if someone made a skin of Jenny Wakeman (XJ-9) from My Life as a Teenage Robot (if someone haven't done it already).

Mega Man Discussion / Re: What's Megaman's future?
« on: December 17, 2017, 07:16:34 AM »
According to Polygon, Mega Man X1-X8 are going to be re-released for the PS4, Xbox One, PC and the Nintendo Switch sometime during summer 2018. That's pretty awesome news to deliver on the Blue Bomber's 30th anniversary. However, I am quite curious, will this new collection contain the SNES version of X3, or the PlayStation/Saturn/PC version of X3 with FMVs and arranged music? I hope that the new "X Collection" will have both. And as for X4, not sure whether they will have all the English voice acting re-done by different people or keep it intact, but I think that the latter is most likely to happen, although it would be cool if there would be an option to choose either the old voices (with X having a female voice, the infamous "WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOOOOOR?!", etc.) or the new voices. As for X5, will the Mavericks have the Guns N' Roses based names, or will they have new names based on their Japanese names? And X6 had plenty of problems, like the J-pop music that was kept in both the Japanese and international releases (this basically covers all games from X3 onwards; I don't mind Japanese music, personally, but I have a feeling that all of the J-pop opening and ending songs will be replaced by instrumentals, like how "Electric Communication" was omitted in Mega Man 8 when playing the Japanese version in Legacy Collection 2, probably due to copyright issues), the translation errors all over the place (I hope that X6 gets a new translation), and the fact that Capcom didn't have time to find English voice actors due to X6 being rushed for Christmas release, so there's only Japanese voices. (Hopefully, X6 will also have English voice actors that will read the text based on the new English translation.)

Still, though, it's great how the X series is coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch.

Mega Man Discussion / Re: Rockman 7 FC
« on: September 27, 2017, 05:20:37 AM »
The effort that the people put in this and Rockman 8 FC is amazing, as well as the mods for 7 FC! I'm really impressed. Kinda makes me wish there were 16-bit remakes of Mega Man X4, X5, X6, X7 and X8, remade with the graphics style of Megaman X1-X3 and SNES-styled music (like Rockman X4 SFC, or Mega Man X4 SNES, or something). That would be great.

Also, 16-bit versions of Mega Man 4, 5 and 6 need to happen, either with Mega Man 7 art style or the Wily Wars art style, maybe with an option to play with either the SNES-styled music or Megadrive/Genesis-styled music.

MM8BDM Discussion / Re: What should the next MM8BDM update be?
« on: August 25, 2017, 11:32:00 AM »
Well, the following versions will feature stages from Mega Man 10 (V6) and Mega Man V GB (V7). And that's it. Maybe, due to popular demand, there might be a sequel, called "Mega Man X: 16-Bit Deathmatch", but the likeliness of that happening is the same as Capcom releasing a brand new Mega Man game (not counting compliations, ports and whatnot).

Rejected / Re: [Suggestion] MMIIGB themes for Robot Masters
« on: August 22, 2017, 04:12:49 AM »
And to add to this, I think the same could be done for the themes of Cut Man, Ice Man, Fire Man, and Elec Man. Like in the third and fourth Game Boy games, their themes were based on their original NES themes. However, while the third and fourth Game Boy games used direct translations, the first game used different arrangements.

I agree. Also, I've found another video with a "fixed" soundtrack for MMIIGB/Rockman World 2 that is closer to other Mega Man Game Boy titles.

MM8BDM Discussion / Re: Mega Man 8-Bit Deathmatch v5b Music Code List
« on: August 22, 2017, 03:33:32 AM »
No, it's actually MM1PWIL6.

There are actually two versions of these: One is "MM1PWILY", a remix of the Dr. Wily dialogue theme from the intro stage of Mega Man Powered Up, which, to my understanding, doesn't play anywhere in the game, and "MM1PWIL6", which is almost the same song and is used, but it also has the melody from the final boss music of Mega Man 6.

Mega Man Discussion / Re: Mega Maker

Great work! I have a feeling that Mega Maker was inspired by Mega Man Powered Up and the cancelled Mega Man Universe, which also allowed you to create your own levels and upload them if you wish. I'm sure that as you update the game, you'll probably include more robot masters to fight against.

Most of the "major" robot characters are actually all musical terms, save for "Proto Man"'s overseas name.

Mega Man = Rock Man who was also "Rock" before being turned into a fighting robot.
Roll = combined with Rock you get the Rock and Roll genre.
Proto Man = Blues genre
Bass + Treble = The clefs. Japanese names: Forte means to play notes loud and powerfully (fitting of his personality), while Gospel is a music genre, mostly religious music.
Duo = Referencing a duet, when 2 people sing or play together.
Enker = Enka which is a traditional Japanese music style.
Punk = Punk music
Quint = Quintet is a group of 5 members
Ballade = Ballads are a poem or song narrating a story in short stanzas.
Beat = all music have a "beat" usually associated with the tempo.
Tango = a type of dance.
Reggae = a popular Jamaican genre of music.
Rush = All I got is the band and it is possible that was coincidence.
Eddie is the only main games one I can't think of what he would be if he even is.

Archie Comics brought us:
Tempo = the speed of the music.
Solo = When one person plays or sings by them self.
Trio = When three people play or sing together.

I guess even Fan could fit the premise of musical terms, and I don't think I would need to explain what he would be.

How about Clash Man (Crash Man's Japanese/MMIIGB name) = named after the band "The Clash"?

Projects & Creative / Re: megaman battle & chase project V2A Released
« on: August 20, 2017, 03:00:11 PM »
Does this works for V5A?

I've tested this on V5B, it doesn't work, and I think that this mod probably doesn't work on V5A either. But I'm sure that the user ice or someone else is slowly working on it to make sure it's compatible with V5B.

BTW, ice, if you're reading this, have you considered adding like some kind of career mode, and also adding Chest, Plum and Ribot, with Chest providing a description for each track, Plum interviewing the racer before the race starts, and Ribot doing a commentary on the race, like in the Japanese version of Battle & Chase?

MM8BDM Discussion / Re: Gamma v5b battle?
« on: August 20, 2017, 09:21:21 AM »
Here is the best way to beat gamma

Use "iddqd" then "fly" and "give igmetalbladewep" Defeat gamma twice with ig metal blade then a weapon close to top spin and get ur top spin ready and when protoman is done with the hint fly up to gamma's head and use top spin.

Note that the Wire Adaptor can only be used with the Top Spin equipped.

Rejected / [Suggestion] MMIIGB themes for Robot Masters
« on: August 16, 2017, 04:07:52 PM »
I have a little music suggestion for Mega Man 8-bit Deathmatch.

I know that Tengu Man has 2 alternate music themes when you select his stage, it'll either play his theme from the PSX version (TENMUS) or the Sega Saturn version (TENMUS2). So, in later versions of MM8BDM, I suggest that you'll try to incorporate Robot Master stage themes from Mega Man II/Rockman World 2 for the Game Boy. The music for the Robot Master stages in Mega Man II/Rockman World 2 is very different from their NES counterparts, and IMO, sounds pretty awesome, the only flaw is that it gets high pitched sometimes. Why not try and make the tunes NES styled (and less high pitched than on the Game Boy), and incorporate the music into the stages of the respective robot masters (like METMUS2, TOPMUS2, etc.), so that when you enter the stage, it'll either play the NES stage theme or the Game Boy stage theme, similarly to Tengu Man's stage in Mega Man 8? I think it would be pretty cool.
