General Gaming Discussion / Bloodstain: Ritual of the Night

Welp, looks like Castlevania joins the "Kickstarter Spiritual Successor" club, and boy am I hyped.
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ig ... -the-night

I promise you if you are even slightly a fan of Metroidvania games, then there's a good chance you'll want to keep your eye on this game. Especially since it's from one of the guys who defined the style of Metroidvania. Also, it might not seemed like I'm hyped right now, but that because I've been keeping it in this whole time, so, if you excuse me....

The WWW board / CD's Video Game Music Playlist
« on: May 04, 2015, 10:25:59 PM »
So, I seem to be caught in a Predicament...
As of recent, I have only been able study properly, or do any work for that matter, while listening to music. So, I made a playlist of Video Game music I enjoy to listen to and add on as time goes by. However, my family gets annoyed (even though I use headphones) that I play the same songs over and over again. My solution: Get as many songs as possible! My Goal is 100 Songs!

If you have any suggestions for song I can add, that would be greatly appreciated. If you can, can you suggest song that are like the following:
-Chiptune/Some Dubstep is greatly appreciated
-Orchestrated/Classical music I also love
-Any bit of rock music is also very welcome
-Try to make it Video Game music; and most importantly
-No singing please. Any music with singing ends up distracting me; turning out to be counter-productive.

So far, I have 29/100 songs in my playlist. Here is a list of them:

Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Medley
Spoiler for Hiden:

Ballad of the Goddess
Spoiler for Hiden:

Ballad of The Wind Fish
Spoiler for Hiden:

Shortened version, of course

Castlevania II Bloody Tears Dubstep
Spoiler for Hiden:

Castlevania Vampire Killer L Sync NES Remix

Cave Story: Running Hell
Spoiler for Hiden:

The version I have has more Bass, which I find makes it sound better. Plus, it's not extended.

Cave Story Theme Remix

Charlie Clouser Saw Theme Music
Spoiler for Hiden:

I know, it's not video game music. To be fair, I found out about this song because of Saxton Hale, so yea.

Ephixa Song of Storms Dubstep Remix
Spoiler for Hiden:

Gerudo Vally Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony
Spoiler for Hiden:

Great Fairy's Fountain Theme Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony
Spoiler for Hiden:

Spoiler for Hiden:

King Dedede Theme Remix
Spoiler for Hiden:

One of my Favourites

Kingdom Hearts Dearly Beloved
Spoiler for Hiden:

None extended version

Legend of Zelda Main Theme Medley 25th Anniversary Medley
Spoiler for Hiden:

Lost Woods Dubstep Ephixa
Spoiler for Hiden:

Megaman Zero 2: Idea 1 03 Departure
Spoiler for Hiden:

Megaman Zero 2: Departure Instrumental Direct Rip (Couldn't decide on which version I liked more, so I kept both)
Spoiler for Hiden:

Megaman 2 Dr. Wily Stage Ultimate D Pad
Spoiler for Hiden:

Megaman Zero 3 Cannonball Mythos Remix
Spoiler for Hiden:

Megaman Zero: Theme of ZERO
Spoiler for Hiden:

The version I have is more Chiptuned, but I can't find it anywhere

Naruto Sadness and Sorrow
Spoiler for Hiden:

Again, not video game music. To be fair, I found this song while play the Ninja Storm games. Plus, there this inside joke me and a friend of mine has with this song, so I couldn't resist putting it on.

Neo Fire Cross Remastered LulzA Final Fantasy Series
Spoiler for Hiden:

Found this song because of Saxton Hale as well, just like the Saw theme.

Shovel Knight: Strike the Earth/Plains of Passage
Spoiler for Hiden:

Solstice (NES) - Title Theme
Spoiler for Hiden:

Listen to this one completely. Keep in mind that this was from an early NES game. All Hail Tim Follin, God of NES Music!

Sonic Generations: Modern Rooftop Run
Spoiler for Hiden:

None Extended Version, of course

Twilight Princess Symphonic Movement Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary
Spoiler for Hiden:

Wind Waker Symphonic Movement Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary
Spoiler for Hiden:

Zelda's Lullaby The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword
Spoiler for Hiden:

I had a Kirby Theme Music Instrumental from Superstar, but I removed it because of this one out of tone note that really bugged me, so I'm looking for a good version of that song.

Anything Goes / CD's Question of the Whenever #20
« on: June 15, 2014, 04:30:36 PM »
Hello people of Cutstuff. CD here with a few questions.
As some of you may know (probably not) I have a knack for asking out of the blue, generally different questions every now and then. What you probably did not know, is that there are actually purpose to those questions; to understand human thinking a little bit better. By asking them here, the greater number of responces would be great but I'm still unsure on how you all will respond to it, so I will start with a trial week (hence week 0).

Now, I promise you, this isn't just another useless topic, it has a legit purpose. Any questions about this topic can be asked during this trial week, so if your wondering about anything, ask it now or forever hold your peace (not really).

The questions themselves, like I said before, are a bit... different... However, it would be nice if you all are to answer them properly. That's not to say you can't make the answers your own. Your answers can be as stupid or as clever, as simple or as complex, as funny or as dull, or even as absurd as you want it to be, as long as that is what you think. Now, onto the first question.

Question 0:
Spoiler for Hiden:
What do you believe to be your spirit animal and why?

EDIT: It's trial not trail, get it together CD

Anything Goes / Cutstuff Sanctuary

I know this is a weird thing to make but, for some reason, I feel it is necessary. As someone who enjoys psychology, and studying humanistic behavior, I realized something which is probably the reason why we, as a community, are so close, we all wish for something more in our life. Admit it, you have at least some one thing going on which you know has or will leave a huge scar in your life. This new topic is for anyone brave enough to just come out and say it. Just remember, we are all a community, there are the good people and there are the bad people, but there are always those who care. And, probably the most important rule to state, what happens in Cutstuff, stays in Cutstuff. Let's learn to respect each other's privacy.
