If anyone's curious, here's the current changelog for Version C! :D

Spoiler for Hiden:
-I may or may not add a hub for choosing your own setup (the poll is there for you to decide).
-NEW BASE WEAPON: Whatever becomes the base weapon will now have infinite ammo. This feature may be removed. New Base Weapon also no longer gives out Rain Flush, Flash Stopper, Gravity Hold, Centaur Flash or Junk Shield anymore.
-JELLY WORLD: You can no longer get stuck on two way teleporters after being killed once. Time Stopper is replaced with Skull Barrier, as it causes a crashing issue due to the nature of Jelly World.
-GUTSMAN G RAMPAGE: Gutsman will no longer attack the same player in quick succession, and will now target other nearby players.
-Two One new chaos effects! Ouch! Stop touching me! No, you stop touching me! Ow!

I'll likely release this next week, to give the poll some time to run.

Time Stopper doesn't refill from ammo anymore, I think, so it won't be affected by Infinite Ammo.

If it's Centaur Flash, well, Chaos Generator!

New Base Weapon doesn't even give you Time Stopper. I will probably remove Flash Stopper, Centaur Flash, Rain Flush and Gravity Hold.

Also! When Jelly World happens, Time Stopper now gets replaced with Skull Barrier, so there's that.

The hub would be nice for controlled experiments, but it takes away from being...y'know...a Chaos Generator if you can determine its output.  Maybe release one with a hub and one without?

If the server doesn't start off in the hub, or goes to the hub but doesn't choose anything, it's effects will be randomised again.

The only thing lacking is only allowing the server host to choose chaos effects. I wonder how I would do that. I'll try to make a level selector thingy, as well (you'll still need to use "CHANGEMAP" console command for custom maps and to revisit the hub).

I voted No the poll, but I have changed the view. Good job

That screenshot reminds me a bit to duel32.pk3 which you can select the stage before the duel...

Accually, the Hub was mainly inspired by TERRORsphere's MM8BDM-HUB, which isn't finished.

Here's some more pictures of my now evolving hub:

As you can see, the effects are now grouped into four catagories. In the second image, the weird blue door portal thingy resets the reels (server host only!) if you change your mind.




And you can choose your levels here. Note that only the server host can choose a stage, although I'm not sure if that system works properly yet!

And two new chaos effects, bringing the total to 27 26:

EARTHQUAKE: The entire level violently shakes up and down. This is not the same as Jelly World!
BOUNCY TERRAIN: Remember Spring Man's stage? His stage mechanic applies to the entire level. Have fun!
