So I'm going to be working on another hub map once I'm done fixing HUB-MM8BDM. Unlike that mod, this will actually be a DUEL32 replacement. (Well, technically the map will be a skin of DUEL16, but I digress.) However, to do that, I'll need suggestions for maps to include - and that's where you come in.

I ask the competitive-oriented members of this community to pick what they think are the best maps for Duel. They can be from the main game or custom maps, but keep in mind that I would like a good balance between the two.

I've always found Charge Man as my go-to map for duels. It's a decent size for the most part.

I'd choose Flashman as my duel map because it's a small open area.

But honestly, I don't think we need a Hub for ONLY duel maps. Duel players would probably stick with the map with more options.

Well, the idea is so that you can have a selection of the best stock and custom maps in one mod for easy access and setup.

Wood Man is a very nice choice for Duels. Small with a decent amount of weapons.

You say that, but duelists like me don't like playing on MM7SPR every one in five maps. Or MM5GYR, or other joke maps. Given the rarity of server hosts editing map rotations at all, I find this a significant contribution to the duel scene. (That is, of course, wouldit catch on.)

MM7 maps purposely omitted.

As for custom maps, the majority of them are too large. (With the exception of "Duel" maps, which, ironically, are far too small for even duel. AMP01, XDUEL01 being great failures in that regard.) AMP02, IDM10 are fine for duel. Duel servers rarely host custom maps, so expect the overall familiarity with them to be low. A couple of other AMP / IX maps would likely fit although I haven't looked at them in long enough to say which ones specifically.

Sure, but why not have it there anyways? It's not like it'll be picked randomly if it's in a hub. If you remove it, you're just limiting the mod.

Anyways, most of the AMP maps are pretty good for duel, especially 1.
