Music from the hacks of Mega Man
« on: March 16, 2011, 01:11:35 AM »
There are some Mega Man hacks that I've played that have very good music, so I recorded a soundtrack of some to share with you.

Mega Man Ultra soundtrack by Infelity: http://www.mediafire.com/?j0r57jseb24xchk

Rockman Deus Ex Machina soundtrack by IKA: http://www.mediafire.com/?34masf5mblhi82i

Rockman Exhaust soundtrack by DHI: http://www.mediafire.com/?8it31eswlq1qywq

Rockman Minimum soundtrack by TAR: http://www.mediafire.com/?cg2d2cv7arlvjus

Rockman No Constancy soundtrack by IKA: http://www.mediafire.com/?ugigcu66pl7j6b8

I recomend that you play these hacks. While difficult, they are very good quality.

These had better be in the right format for MM8BDM...

I, for one, have never played any hacks or listened to much of their music--in fact, community, pick for me.  Rockman 4 MI, or Rockman no Constancy?

Speaking of RM4MI, that's the one game I've actually listened to music from--probably a temporary awe happening, but I adore the Boss Pinch Theme.  Could someone make a pack for that?

Rockman no Constancy by a long shot. It's really one of the very few fan made Mega Man games that gives the player a challenge in the right of ways, done correctly. And their 8-bit music is freaking great ((listen carefully and you'll recognize them from other games)).

I downloaded the file--but now I need the proper engine for running it.  I'd rather ask the person who knows where it is then hunt around in dangerous places like GooGle.  Call it lazy, call it un-motivated, call it what you like.  Just, if you have it off hand, please direct me.

The only tunes recognize apart from MM are the Super Mario Bros. tracks--I do not own many NES games.  It's actually more likely I'll recognize none.

I recomend that you use NEStopia. Then open up a Rockman 2 rom (NOT Mega Man 2, but the japanese Rockman 2), then finally open up the Rockman No Constancy rom.

I tried patching RNC to the american Mega Man II the first time, the results were rather interesting.

Gotta play or check out more games then mortal, lot of good music out there. From what I just remember, one track is From NamcoXCapcom, another from I believe is from one of the touhou games, and maybe even castlevania.

((BTW if I was wrong here just correct me, but I think I remember two of the three I listed here are correct...))
