I saw this pokemon skins thread and it became a pokemon discussion thread.
And Ivory said we would "almost" need a seperate thread for it.
And i (as a pokemon fan) do not agree on the "almost" part.

Ill start with saying that the 5th generation pokemon are totally sucky

Hey, I'm a huge Pokemon fan too!

I'll start by saying 5 Gen Pokemon are a huge improvement over Gen 3 & 4 in terms of the sucky to good designs ratio.

I thought that until I saw the cog pokemon, and how it's evolved state barely changes

Also the amount of GENERIC DINOSAUR LOOKING THING WITH BLADES ON THEIR ARMS is getting ridiculous.

Sorry, nothing you can say can possibly top this horror of gen 4.

My problem with most of the newer Pokemon is that they don't resemble anything. Gen 1 and 2 all looked at least somewhat like real creatures.

It looks like a terrible fan pokemon... or a strange cross between heatran and gardevoir.

Like I said in the other thread. Gen 1 and 2 Pokemon were designed at the same time and made to be together. I really hated Gen 4 since it butchered a lot of designs. For instance, Rhydon is awesome. Rhyperior is not.
