What's your team?

It's hard to make a team until the aftergame in Gen V,
because some Pokemon aren't really that likeable.

I mean the Stats, Typing, and Movesets.

If the team is OU, I wouldn't be surprised.

In other news, I need to make an OU team myself.

Simple words, don't risk using a team with just NU in competition. Did that mistake, and lost to pretty much almost everyone here.

If I revealed the new team, it'd would spoil my entry team for AirmanTengu's compo, PO stuff, and possibly even Cutstuff Region, if I ever plan to be battle-able. But if you truly want to know, I'd suggest you to challenge me in a PO match sometime. Not that I guarantee my team is perfect, but pretty certain it's better then my older team.

I've beaten many with my RU team, but I know where your coming from. All the OU Pokemon just seem too cheap for me, so I'm makin' a UU team now.

My OU team's not a run-of-the-mill build (A Gravity team), and with some self-imposed restriction. It works pretty well with all these "requirements". My restrictions are Gen 1-3 only and no legendaries.

You do realize that a Pokemon's tier is not determined by its prowess, but by its usage, right? Pokemon in the OU tier share only one trait universally; they are all literally overused. While this can, and often does, mean that Pokemon in the OU tier are among the best competitively for any given niche, the opposite is not as true. In other words, Pokemon in the UU and RU tiers aren't necessarily worse or, to use your terms, less cheap; they are simply and literally used less often.

That being said, take a look at some UU Pokemon; Togekiss, Sableye, and Chandelure are often the definition of 'cheap' for many competitive players.

I also don't understand why people restrict themselves from using Legendary Pokemon. The only thing that truly classifies Pokemon as 'Legendary' is their status in the manga/anime/video game storylines. Non-Uber Legendary Pokemon are non-Uber for a reason.

My team has 3 OU, the rest are ether UU NU or RU, this team that (has been slowly evolving) has really no strategy to it, just Pokemon that I like and think fit a niche quite well.

I guess, but I try to use the less 'cheap' in my opinion Pokemon if ya' know what I mean.

I pretty much thought, why not use better pokes? I kinda just pick random pokes that come in mind, try to check their teirs and recall if I ever had any fun with them in the past games I played. Or any that really floats me.

I can think of a few examples. None of Gen 1's legendaries I recall aren't actually in the Uber teir. Kyurem isn't Uber like Reshiram and Zekrom is. And those not-fully-known legendaries from Gen V I recall are in that Limbo teir. Not every legendary will guarantee win, and I definitively learned that in one playthrough of SoulSilver.

It's also a little challenging trying to think on how to convert a competitive team to a trainer team for the sack of a game's difficulty. I'm saying it for CSPR.

I always pick my teams with Pokemon I like. I don't care for any stats and stuff- I just compose my team of Pokemon I think are cool. For example, in my only team I defeated the Elite Four with, I hade a Snorlax, a Blastoise, an Electrode, a Muk (evil, throw him in the dungeon), and two others I forgot- though they were probably pretty low in the tier list. One of them might've been a Tentacruel.

I liked the team a lot, which is why I was sad it was deleted. It really doesn't matter about the team's stats- it's based on your personal preference.

Of course, I don't advertise going into a compo match with five Caterpies and a Weedle, but you get what I mean.
